It was a traumatising morning for us as we lost a kitten to a python. Our volunteer walked in to the cat area this morning and found the cats edgy and staring at the corner of the kennel. She then saw a full bellied Reticulated python staring at her. It probably came around to hunt for food at night and unfortunately took a very curious 5 months old kitten of ours. It couldn't escape through the fence after that. We then called the fire services to take it away. The python got angry when it was disturbed so it regurgitated the poor little kitty. At least we got our kitty back and buried it. RIP Clumsy. You were a hero. You saved your other feline friends.

Tom, a confident and loving boy enjoying the sun in his yard this morning. He suffered from vestibular syndrome last year and has since recovered. Though he now walks with a sway, he still loves his daily rounds with his humans. Sometimes he picks fights with his young neighbours and during his walks, he gets annoyed when other dogs are too close to him. A funny old man with lots of life in him.

Here are Snow and White 4 months ago when they were abandoned at LASSie and this is how they look today!! 😻😻😻 Beautiful aren’t they? Freddie... before and after 💕

Please cast your minds back to November 2019 when we posted about little Fred flying to KL to be with his new adoptive parents Sam and Riz... remember that? (Photo 1) ... well it turns out that Fred is actually a SHE! 😹😹

Just look how she’s grown!!! According to her new pawrents she is sassy, hilarious and makes their day ❤️❤️❤️ She weighs about 5kg now and likes to help out at the gym where Sam and Riz work. Freddie has taken it upon herself to act as both the receptionist and guardian of equipment at their gym and is a highly valued staff member 😂

We had a very, very good day with 4 kittens adopted. All of our kittens have been neutered so there is no worry of them reproducing. Thank you Baim and Wahyuni for adopting shelter animals 😻.

More cats dumped therefore more cats for adoption. Our shelter is overcrowded and we are tightening our monthly budgets. If the public keep dumping animals to us, our in house animals will be affected. So please make sure your pets are neutered and if you want to adopt a pet,please be responsible.
