Paws-itively Passionate
Dr Chong grown up in a small village, there isn’t a part of her childhood memory where animals were not a part of it. She grew up with dogs as a part of the family and always befriending other animals in the neighbourhood. There was a dog in the family named Dagou, he was a puppy when she was born and he passed away when she was 12 years old. There wasn’t any veterinary clinic in her hometown and awareness about veterinary care also very low. Since the death of her childhood partner, like every young girl, she told herself she wants to be a veterinarian when she grew up. The difference between her and most young girls is that dream never went away, until the dream finally came true in 2011. She adopted Tina from UVH when she was a veterinary student in UPM, and became a real dog owner on her own, and then Hiro her first cat when she started working as a veterinarian and lastly Pin Pin the youngest dog in the family, they are the biggest influence in her veterinary journey.
