Silver Shark | Bala Shark
Silver Sharks, also known as Bala Sharks, are one of the more commonly kept species in the aquarium hobby. This incredible species of tropical fish is not actually a true Shark but is aptly named due to their Shark-like appearance. Juvenile Balas are often only small and as a result are a great addition to a community tank. Mature Silver Sharks will eventually grow to around 14 inches in length, so if you are planning on keeping them long-term it is worth ensuring you have a suitably large aquarium.
Caring for Silver Sharks is easy, providing you maintain stable water conditions. We recommend using a water test kit frequently, to ensure water quality is suitable.
Temperature is also an important factor for these fish. Sudden fluctuations can cause severe stress and lead to a breakout of parasites/disease. To prevent this a quality heater should be placed in the tank, alongside a thermometer to ensure that the temperature remains correct (26ยฐC) and consistent.

FeiFeng | Phoenix Flagtail
The Flagtail Prochilodus (Semaprochilodus taeniurus) is a striking freshwater fish known for its eye-catching appearance and unique behavior. It gets its name from the vibrant red and black striped pattern on its tail, resembling a flag waving in the water.
Water Parameters:
โข Temperature: 75-82ยฐF (24-28ยฐC)
โข pH: 6.0-7.5 (slightly acidic to neutral)
โข Water hardness: 2-12 dGH
Flagtail Prochilodus are primarily herbivores, but they will also consume small amounts of protein from time to time. In the wild, they graze on algae, detritus, and plant material. In the aquarium, their diet should reflect this natural feeding behavior.

Tiger Barbs
Tiger Barbs are freshwater fish that are found in many Asian countries. They are relatively small and hardy, making them great for beginners.
The Tiger Barbs (Puntius titteya) can be found in Southeast Asia, where they inhabit quiet rivers lined by sandstone rocks near trees, plants, insects, and algae.
They can be kept with other Tiger Barbs, but should not be placed in the same tank as any small fish or slow-moving tank mates like Goldfish.
Monitor the pH levels of your aquarium to keep it at a healthy level for both fish and plants. For Tiger Barbs, in particular, make sure that you always have water with a pH range between 6.0-7.0, which is their natural habitat.

Black Diamond Kingkong Parrot
The Blood Parrot Cichlid is a hybrid fish that was first created in Taiwan in the mid to late 1980's. Its parentage has been highly disputed, but the most commonly speculated pairings are Midas Cichlid (Amphilophus Citrinellus) or Red Devil (Amphilophus Labiatus) with the Redhead Cichlid (Vieja Synspilum). Now new variant just released few years back and that is Black Diamond Kingkong Parrot.
Temperatures should be between 76 - 86F (24 - 30C) but the ideal temperature should be between 80 - 84F (24 - 29C). Temperatures lower than 80F (24C) seems to cause them to be more reclusive and cause the color to be more pale. The ideal pH should be between 7.0 - 8.0.
They enjoy pelleted foods with occasional Blood Worm and Shrimp treats. A smaller pellet size should be used due to their mouths.

Channa sp Laos Fireback is a species which lives naturally at a temperature between 18 ยฐC and 25 ยฐC. For proper maintenance, the temperature should never exceed the 28ยฐC
Its aquarium should be spacious with plenty of hiding places amongst driftwood and rocky caves, with plenty of water movement during the cooler winter, followed by still conditions in the summer. Providing surface cover in the form of floating plant species will help provide the right conditions for breeding.
It is essential that the aquarium has a tight fitting lid as these fishes are expert jumpers, and a small gap must be left between the surface of the water and the coverslides in order for the fish to come up and take in humid air.
Channa sp. Laos Fireback are large, predatory fish that need substantial food, like feeder fish, earthworms, mealworms, crickets and so on.

Channa Blue Pulchra is a species which lives naturally at a temperature between 18 ยฐC and 25 ยฐC. For proper maintenance, the temperature should never exceed the 28ยฐC for long periods.
Nitrate levels should remain below 50mg/L. To keep the water clean and unpolluted, plan on changing 20% to 30% of the water volume each month.
Its aquarium should be spacious with plenty of hiding places amongst driftwood and rocky caves, with plenty of water movement during the cooler winter, followed by still conditions in the summer. Providing surface cover in the form of floating plant species will help provide the right conditions for breeding.
