Kim Chi’s 1st boarding
Kim Chi : i am 5 months old. This Is my 1st trial boarding in HFK. It took me half a day to figure out why my family sent me here. I met many new friends. But the one that instantly became my friend Is Charlie Varnado.
Gosh! This cocker spaniel sure can run fast!
Buffy : Let’s start August 1st with a good morning workout!
Thank goodness Charlie found a way to get the ball and I need not have to trouble my neighbour for help.😄
I threw the ball a little too far and it got caught on a net in my neighbour’s house. But Charlie was so determined and somehow managed to get the ball down.
Monkey Business
Thea and Dasher getting live entertainment as these monkeys jumps from 1 house to another. One was even throwing rambutan skin on Thea.
Happy Ziggy on a Sunday morning
So wondeful to cool down.
Furkids having fun in the pond on a sunny breezy afternoon.
All furkids cooperating well during dinner time.
10 little boarders having their dinner together. A good boarder doesn’t give me headache when it comes to meal time.
Paw parents knows who your pets are when you hear me complain non stop during feeding. I can manage slight inconsistencies, however those who are extremely picky will be declined eventually.
Right discipline Is important. In HFK, food will be removed within 5 mins if a picky dog refuses to eat as no free feeding will be allowed. They learn there are no other options till next meal time.
Max wasn’t successful to invite Som to dance. This is tango protocol
Junior tango practica - Mabel O’Quin with Bo Chandra. In Tango protocol , the male must get the signal of approval from the female then approach her.
Obviously Max did not get Som’s body language right. She showed no interest and Max walked away with embarrassment!
Dirty, old precious porcuplne Is everyone’s favourite toy.
I want the brown porcupine!
Need the sausage to burn up his energy and leave us all in peace tonight.
Beautiful windy weather followed by 3 hours of heavy downpour. Keeps the place cool and furkids are having a blast playing outdoor in the afternoon.
Enough is enough
Bo : Hey Hiro, I heard you got kicked out from the other room as you were disturbing the peace in the room and all the big dogs didn’t sleep well last night.
Now you are doing the same to us. Why are you so hyper?. We need our rest. So does our pet sitter.
Yay! we have a tree 🌳
Checked out the plant nursery this afternoon. HFK needs an instantly big tree that can provide shade and pissing station for the dogs.
Glad I found a decent size frangipani tree.
Brave happy little dogs
Little ones getting exposure to meet gentle big dogs in the evening.
Music recital at HFK
Just as i was about done with a relaxing facial session on a Sunday afternoon, I get a txt message from my bro, there will be a music recital in 2 hours time. Do keep the dogs quiet.
Suddenly, my relaxing Sunday became stressful. Rushed home to feed 17 boarders , cleared their poo and flushed their pee and hid all the furkids away from hoomans. No see…. No bark.
Good night babies
Max Callahan is about to sleep. Playful and nocturnal Mabel .O’Quin thinks 11pm is too early to sleep.
15 mins job/ DIY and save Uncle Samy a trip to chop the tree.
Furkids love sitting under this tree which provides good shade. Somehow yesterday , part of this tree uprooted, presumably it’s too heavy.
Hachi, Hiro and Snoopy
Yesterday, I had Hachi a pomeranian puppy over for meet & greet followed by a trial daycare. Hachi means number 8 in Japanese.
Today,, Hiro a dachshund came for meet & greet. The 1st 30 minutes was critical for my assessment. Fortinately, all the excessive loud barking stopped for me to reconsider the trial daycare.
Snoopy, the beagle checked in for his 1st over night boarding.
Good catch Charlie!
Charlie Varnado is warming up for his soccer experience. After HFK, he adjourns to soccer experience to watch his sisters play several times a week. This is actual field work before his dad picks him up
Playful little ones
Grandma : Haiz, impossible to sit down. These little furkis will invade into my space.
Furkids: Grandma, your space Is our space. We like to be close to hoomans.
