I founded this company together with my Ex-wife in early 2014. When we moved in to our new neighborhood, we noticed that there are many dogs in their front yard left alone and looked bored. My Ex-wife asked me, Why don't you do s

omething to make them happy? My friends were also complaining how upset they feel when they have to send their dogs for boarding whenever they go for vacations or travel for work. We also noticed neighbours being pulled by their dogs when walking, and almost all the neighbours that we came across were pulled too! So, that prompted me to do better research and why this is happening. After doing extensive research, I realised that there are many things that we are doing wrongly as dog owners, we are doing things wrongly. To get the foundations right, I went to the root of the education and got myself certified in DOG PSYCHOLOGY from Dog Psychology 101, EMERGENCY ANIMAL SHELTER from University at albany, State University of New York, ANIMAL WELFARE from Ethology Institute Cambridge, and Understanding Dog Emotion and cognition from Duke University. I am also Cesar's Recruit : Asia Top 8 Finalist and directly mentored by Cesar Millan himself. I also had the privilege to be mentored by Cheri Wullff Lucas, one of Cesar's Master Trainer and notable dog behaviourist. Below are my credentials;

[FAREWELL POST – SAMSWAY DOG TRAINING]

To every soul who trusted me with your dogs… thank you.

After years of training tails and transforming homes, I’ve officially made the heartfelt decision to close my dog training chapter—and fully step into my healing work with people through Lumina Heart.

This decision came with deep reflection, some tears, and a peaceful knowing.
Because I wasn’t just training dogs—I was learning how to read energy, repair trust, and hold space for transformation.

And now, my heart is asking me to do that—with humans.

I want to say this clearly:
I didn’t walk away from this work.
I graduated from it.
And every family I worked with—every bark, bite, breakthrough—you helped shape me.

So this is not goodbye.
It’s a bow.
To the animals who taught me presence.
To the humans who taught me patience.
To the path that helped me meet my purpose.

Founder's NOTE - 2023 from the heart.

Well. It's the end of 2023. So my 40's are starting.
I will write in point forms of my feelings;
1. It was a fantastic year as I marrried the love of my life.
2. My business planning has gotten into a more substantial mode.
3. So many things happened outside my control that really shaken things up.
4. And I learnt that the physical body that I have now is not as strong when I was when I was 30yrs old.
5. I found good managers and assts that really worked in hand with me and the company.
6. And it was a beautiful year!

I would like to thank all that supported throughout and our humble apologies if we couldn't do our best at any point this year. We have done our best and we will improve and serve better.
