Zahara passed away Tuesday, August 13, killed by a car on the highway when she ran from her foster home. She was a sweet beautiful girl who was let down by almost everyone she knew. All she ever wanted was a safe, quiet place where she could be loved and she never got that.
Abandoned in a cage when she was just 3 months old, then kept in a cage for another 2 months. Moved to one boarding place for a couple of weeks where she was badly treated and just huddled together with her brother and sister for comfort. Then she went to another boarding house for 5 months and she had some fond memories there even though she never completely came out of her shell.
She was always scared at adoption drives and wanted to hide. She never got a single inquiry in all this time. I despise the people who looked down on her and wouldn't even consider her because she looks too common. She had beautiful, soulful eyes and a lovely black pattern on her back and tail. She was calm and gentle and would have been a wonderful family member. If you ever saw her at an adoption drive or online and passed over her because of her looks or because she was shy, shame on you!
Going to a foster home seemed like a great chance for her because she could finally get some individual attention and start to come out of her shell.
But Zahara ran away after 2 days at the foster home. We were searching day and night with her brother Maddox, but we couldn't find her. There were only a few of us searching, unfortunately.
She was hit by a car on the highway on Tuesday morning, August 13. We didn't find out until Wednesday morning. She was just lying there and no one cared. The informer said she didn't want to look and just wanted someone to take it away. No respect even for her body. We can only hope she didn't suffer too much. RIP, Zahara. I'm so sorry we let you down.

These beautiful dogs were abandoned in a cage by a cruel person when they were just three months old. Now Maddox, Shiloh and Zahara are 9 months old, neutered and vaccinated. Shiloh is very outgoing and loves children, perfect for a family. Maddox is playful and active, happy to make friends with other dogs. Zahara is the most timid and needs some love to warm up to people, but is quite gentle and sweet.
Will you give one a forever home or even foster one? Despite sharing almost every day and countless adoption drives, not a single person has been kind enough to adopt or offer to foster. Their boarding costs are high so they don't have much time left. They don't deserve to spend the rest of their lives in a shelter.

S*x with your sibling is called in**st and is illegal in almost all 50 states. S*x with your sibling or other close relations, if you are a dog, is called inbreeding, and inbreeding is part of the practice of pure-breeding dogs.

We may not mean to, but we are hurting the dogs we claim to love.

News flash! We don't have any poodles or any other fancy little in**ed dogs. And if you're the kind of shallow, small-hearted person who only wants a certain breed, you don't deserve a dog.

Maddox, Shiloh, and Zahara's story: These three babies were dumped in front of a rescuer's house in a cage in January, trembling and traumatized. The rescuer didn't have the capacity to care for them as she already had too many, and they were kept in the cage most of the time. When I went to visit them in February, they were huddling together in the cage, afraid of humans. I couldn't stand to see them like that.
In March, we sent them to a boarding house where they're coming out of their shells. Maddox and Shiloh even do a little happy dance for their food as you can see in the video!
Zahara is still a bit timid but she's gradually warming up. Two weeks ago they went to their first adoption drive at Jaya One. Can you help them find their forever homes where they'll always be loved and cared for?

UPDATE: Jasper was adopted on August 11!

Jasper is a handsome, regal boy who's selective about his friends. If he loves you, he'll love you forever. He followed his rescuer into her house and decided he was staying. Unfortunately she's allergic and didn't want to keep him 😢
I just started fostering him recently and he's friendly with me but is not too fond of his new roommate, Cyrus He'd really love to have his own quiet home. Can you give him one? He's neutered and vaccinated. Adopters will be interviewed and must agree to keep him indoors.

UPDATE: 🥳Cassius was adopted into a loving home on May 4! Cassius is a sweet, affectionate boy who gets along with people and other cats. Extremely enthusiastic about his food, not at all a picky eater.
He was abandoned wearing a collar in an area with stray cats. He clearly used to be someone's pet and he deserves a forever home. Would you like to adopt him? He's neutered and vaccinated. WhatsApp me! Adopters will be interviewed and must agree to keep him indoors.

I'm Cyrus and I want to play with you! Can you adopt me? I've been waiting for soooo long!
Little Cyrus is active, cuddly, and playful, purring whenever someone comes into the room. He's happy to rub on your legs and jump on your lap.
He loves people and isn't even bothered by dogs.
This lovely boy was abandoned on the streets with no idea how to fend for himself. He was rescued by Voice for Paws after he was hit by a car. All he wants now is a loving forever home. Just look at his beautiful blue eyes!

Zahara is a sweet, timid girl who needs love and care. She loves other dogs as she was abandoned with her two siblings.
The three of them were abandoned in a cage in front of my friend's house and they spent about two months there since she had no other place to put them.

Shiloh is a playful, active girl who needs some love and attention so she'll learn to trust people. She was abandoned in a cage with her two siblings in front of my friend's house.
They were very scared and they spent the last two months in the cage as there was no other place for them to go. Now she is in a boarding house where she can make friends. Loves other dogs.

Maddox was abandoned in a cage with his three siblings in front of my friend's house two months ago. The poor babies spent most of their time in that cage and they just went to a boarding house at the beginning of the month.
He's an active, playful boy who loves other dogs. He's a bit shy with humans because of his experience, but if you patiently show him love, he'll definitely love you back.

UPDATE: ADOPTED OCTOBER 2023!
This beautiful girl followed me home from a run and made herself right at home. I'd never seen her before, but she was obviously someone's pet. I've been posting everywhere and asked all around the neighborhood with no response, so some evil person most likely abandoned her. She seems used to being indoors and insisted on coming right in. Well-behaved inside and house-trained, only does her business on newspaper or outside. She doesn't want to be outside at all and she sleeps in my bed.
Extremely friendly and loving, gets along with my dogs and is gentle with cats too. Not absolutely certain, but she seems to have a scar from being spayed.
Please give her a loving home where she will never be abandoned.

Do you want a low-maintenance, quiet dog who's always happy to see you?

Calm, gentle David has been through a lot. He was rescued with a slash wound in his head a few months ago, and it's amazing he survived! After a long recovery, he's well and looking for his forever home.

I've been fostering him for some time now, and he's a very easy dog to care for. All he wants is a safe place to relax. He'll always wag his tail when he sees you, and he loves his food. Gets along well with other dogs. He usually has a serious personality, but sometimes he can be persuaded to play, and it's so cute to see.

UPDATE: ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 2023!
Cute little Baby is sweet and cuddly, brave and eager to explore. Not bothered by anything, he spent a day posing for adoring crowds at the Oh My Meow Expo, as you can see in the photo of him on the pillow. His favorite treats are Churus! He loves to grab the package and play tug.

He was in bad shape when he was rescued and had to undergo a surgical procedure. He's healthy now, but due to a congenital condition, he may need an additional procedure as he grows. I'm fostering him for Voice for Paws. Can you give him the love and care he needs?

Update: She's mine now!
Lovely Penny is looking for a forever home. She's 6 months old, newspaper trained, and will sit for treats! Penny is a sweet, sensitive girl who will follow you everywhere and loves to cuddle. She adores cats and gets along well with other dogs. Must be kept indoors. I've been fostering her for three months now and I want to find an adopter who loves her as much as I do. If that's you, contact me!
Vaccinated and dewormed, will be spayed in the next couple of weeks.

Update: Adopted in July!
😻😻Baby Pepper is available for adoption! She was rescued as an orphan when she was just a few days old, and I bottle-fed her. Now she's grown into a healthy, playful little girl.
She gets along with other cats and is a brave explorer and climber.
2 months old, vaccinated and dewormed. Adopters will be carefully screened and must agree to have her spayed when she's old enough.

This sweet, playful kitty is Milady. She'll greet you enthusiastically with purrs and a little mew. Gets along well with other cats, hates dogs. She'd also be very happy to be an only cat with your undivided attention. She's 2 years old, spayed and vaccinated.
