Our Story

The brand of Legacy is founded & created by a local reputable chinchilla breeder, Chinchilla My and his partner , Soh who is a dietitian graduated from International Medical University. Let us tell about why we come out with series of Legacy Professional Chinchillas, Guinea Pigs & Rabbit Food.

In the past, the most common small mammals feeds available in Malaysia are Mazuri & Oxbow. However, Chinchilla My faced the same challenge with the rest of the owners who use these 2 brands, which is the issue of OUT-OF-STOCK. Due to various factors, the supplies of these 2 brands are not so constant. In the end, most of the owners will try to stock up more when there is new shipment of pellets coming to Malaysia.

Well, stocking up indeed solve the problem. However, we are in tropical country which is hot & humid, these conditions promote the growth of harmful bacteria and fungus which will affect the quality and hence, impact the health condition of your beloved pet.

As a result, We ( Chinchilla My & Soh ) decided to produce the small mammals pellets in Malaysia. Side story here, Soh is also one of professional breeder of show quality guinea pigs. After few years of R&D, hundred times of lab testing & food testing by related animals, we come out with our very own brand, known as LEGACY PROFESSIONAL SMALL MAMMALS FOOD.
