Pawsitive Pet Animal Clinic is equipped with the very best specialist veterinary diagnostics, laboratory and clinical tools. We believe strongly in the value of preventative health care for your pets. Preventative health care begins with a physical examination which includes an examination of your pet's oral cavity and teeth. Our recommendation for your pet is to have a yearly examination with appropriate vaccinations, parasite testing and blood work for monitoring major organ systems. We are also a cat friendly veterinary practice with separate Cat Hospitalisation Ward with only Feline Patients and a special cat tree. Our staffs have promised to handle and treat cats with understanding, gentleness and respect, and to make every effort to make the visit to the clinic as stress-free for you and your cat as possible.

Neutering your pet rabbits is as important as neutering your pet cats and dogs. Generally the procedures can help to increase your rabbits’ life expectancy, improve wellbeing and behaviour.

Spaying your rabbits at appropriate age not only helps to prevent unwanted babies, it is also very important to help preventing reproductive cancer such as mammary, ovarian, uterine and cervical cancers. These cancers are very common in intact female rabbits (more than 50%, starting from age of 3!) often due to their genetic makeup from too much inbreeding.

Whereas castrating male rabbits once matured can also help to control aggression, marking behaviour, litter box training and prevent testicular cancer as well.

Do you know that guinea pigs require a dietary source of vitamin c daily ? This is because their body can’t produce ascorbic acid on their own like most other animal.

Other than vitamin c fortified pellets and, or vitamin syrup, these are the example of fresh foods that contain good amount of ascorbic acid, suitable to be provided daily.
