Meet our latest co-foster! This is Willow the co-foster Goldendoodle. She's 4+YO and she's actually former co-foster Snoopy the Goldendoodle's sister from the same litter. She's given up by a breeder who has ended their business.
Willow is smelly, skinny, has yeast infection and will be seeing the vet tomorrow for health check and blood test. She is transported over by Pooch Palace.
After seeing the vet, we will send her to Bacon and Beans' Residence to foster her as we are packed for CNY.

400km is like running from KL to Singapore and then taking on another marathon. 😱
Angel the 15-16YO Poodle always refuses food. She has gum/ teeth ache but she's too old (with MVD Stage C) for teeth scaling/ extraction.
So, we have given her gastric med. She is given soft diet but we will try to entice her to eat.

This is the first custom hock brace in Malaysia.

HRH Bailey went to his orthopedic veterinary clinic to meet engineer from Petaneer Thailand to adjust his custom hock brace. Version 1 was too tight. They made a new Version 2 but slightly loose. There are several modifications needed and they'll come over again in February with Version 3.
Bailey is temporarily using Version 2 for now to go for walks on tar road. A big thanks to Petaneer and Anihealth for the adjustment! As it is custom hock brace with very specific requirements, it can take a few consultation to finalise.

A private home where we take care of abandoned dogs and accept 2 or 3 dogs daily for boarding to support medical expenses for the foster dogs. Visits are strictly by appointment only. Pre-boarding assessment is required before we accept your fur kid for boarding. We have an enclosed garden, indoor and outdoor (sheltered) areas in our private residence for fur kids to exercise daily. Our home is located within a gated and guarded community.
Our phone number and address will not be shared prior to arrangement for pre-boarding assessment and please do not share without obtaining our consent. There are former clients who shared our number without our consent, resulting in strangers calling us to threaten to kill their unwanted dogs if we do not take them in.
Bart’s Sanctuary was named after our first rescue, Bart the Rottweiler. We fostered him when he was 11 years’ old and he passed away at 12.5 years’ old. He was locked up in a kennel and neglected for 11 years. Despite suffering from weak hips, weak hind legs, heartworm and skin problem (infection), Bart took only a couple of weeks to accept us. He inspired us to stay positive despite what he has gone through. We promised Bart that we will continue to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned dogs (one or two at a time) in Klang Valley.
We are keeping our promise to him and have been fostering abandoned fur kids since January 2012. To date, we have rescued/ fostered/ re-homed over 100 homeless dogs.
