Please allow me to use this opportunity to appreciate everyone for helping us to have a successful Onamutai Sports and Community Trade Expo 2024. Your positive and negative advices will help us to do better in the future.
To the organizing committee, it is never too easy to do something for the first time, but regardless of some negative views, the unwavering commitment is promising a prosperous future.
Special appreciation goes to Cochile Shikuni and Coach Liah. People might not have seen what you have done behind the scenes, but the success of the event have all your names on it. Thank you and we only request that you continue assisting us and those with intentions to start similar events.
Special appreciation also goes to all the exhibitors, you saved the people well, your work has not gone unnoticed. Let’s just increase our stock next year, so that we do not run out of food and drinks as it happened throughout the event. But that only mean the participation was more than what we all anticipated. Next year, let’s us come back stronger.
To all the teams that participated especially the ladies soccer teams, not only did you compete professionally, but you have shown my community that an event of this nature can happen without any propblems. To Rachel Nambinga and your team, your professionalism in handling the games contributed significantly.
Tate Peelenga,l of Total Protection Services, and your security team, order has been kept from day one, very much appreciated.
Another special thanks goes to the Northern Couches (Legends) FC for showing the community of Onamutai that Age is just a number. The excitement of seeing an uncle falling with the ball is a memory the community will keep for a long time.
To the winners, Congratulations! We will all be ready to challenge the floating trophies and the entire winning prizes next year.
But the biggest appreciation goes to NEDBANK Ongwediva Branch. Our Expo would not have been this successful without your financial support.
I will not be able to thank everyone by name, but the organizing committee and the entire Onamutai/Omangela community offers or deep felt gratitude to you all.
