As it currently stands we will have to postpone all spay days until August ☹ only our sponsored spay days in May and June by Brigitte Bardot fondation days and the trapping programs in Windhoek, Tsumeb and Walvis will continue. Everything else will come to a halt.
This situation is heartbreaking. Not only are we struggling, but it also impacts the animals who rely on us. Worried owners see their pets struggling, and dedicated vets who are ready to help are unable to as we cannot purchase the materials needed for a safe operation.

Gena has been at FOUR PAWS Namibia since 2021. Her owners could not keep her anymore and Gena had nowhere to go.
Since then, nobody has adopted Gena.
But she is lucky that she has a home at Four Paws Namibia.
As long as Four Paws has a home....
But Four Paws and the 80 cats living there have to move 😔.
Very soon! They must leave there by July.
They have a new, permanent plot already 😺!
But a fence and shelters need to be built.
Willem who runs Four Paws has been looking after 80 cats for many years. Cool Cats has been supporting him to feed the cats for years. We visited Willem and the cats at their current place in Gobabis. All these cats are so well looked after and happy!
Now the cats and Willem need our help so that they can move to their forever home. What will happen if the new place can not be ready when they have to move out?
Thanks to the wonderful donations you have made up to now, there is hope, big hope that the cats will have a place to stay again. But a little more is needed.

Peanut URGENTLY needs a FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME - She is in WINDHOEK. She has been at the vet since March 2024 and she is getting very bad kennel stress.
She does not like cats. She is a pitbull mix breed. She is such a sweetheart and was rescued where she was confined in a small tin shack. She was extremely thin and had sores everywhere. She is now all better and deserves a better life. She is sterilized.

Toffee is not responding to the antibiotics as hoped 💔 She still has a fever and her gums are still very white, not regaining colour. But she definitely has more energy and is starting to show her personality ❤️ She has no problem with opening her mouth to swallow her pills but she clenches her jaw when it is heptonic vitamins - she does not like the taste 🙈 She has started purring very softly and just wants love and cuddles. Urine output is still way too little but she made a good poop - this shows her intestines are still functioning! Her skin is so sensitive and as soon as we start cleaning with baby sensitive wet wipes, she walks away. She is too sick and fragile to be bathed.
Toffee has a bit more energy than yesterday, a good appetite and just wants love ❤️ She is really in a bad condition and we suspect organ failure. She only made a very small pee in 24 hours and no poop. Vets will assess her on Tuesday. Please help us help Toffee! If anyone can send us some Hills Restorative Care a/d wet food, we will really appreciate it! It is not available in the north!
