Dr Alfeus and Dr Jeremia attending to a rescued pangolin female. She is very weak and they are giving her fluids through IV. From stress, she aborted her fetus 😭 Poaching and trafficking in pangolins is a criminal offense punishable by imprisonment. NHA WedVet Clinic works together with the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism Namibia to ensure healthy pangolins are released in a safe area after being rescued and confiscated from traffickers.

*** YEAR END UPDATE *** YEAR END UPDATE *** YEAR END UPDATE ***

Teaming up with NHA WedVet Clinic and Oshana SPCA resulted in so many fantastic spay days we are so so happy about! The team covers an unbelievable vast area and still they try to organise a Have a Heart spay days once or twice a month! This is dedication to a good cause for animals!

In 2022 the team was able to help 252 cats and 82 dogs with a life changing spay or neuter operation, traveling thousands of kilometers and having spay days in Oshikango, Oshakati, Oluno, Ongwediva, Onawa, Omuthiya, Ondangwa,
Oshikuku and Ohangwena.

We only teamed up in 2021 but there are already 549 much loved Have a Heart family members in the North! WOW!!

But we also know the fact is: this is just the "very top of the iceberg"....

There are literally still thousands of dogs and cats waiting for the vets, but we do need support to make this happens!

Have a Heart is covering the medical costs, Swakop Charity Shop donated much needed traps and the Oshana SPCA is covering the petrol and bait costs. All this is needed in order for us to be able to keep on helping Namibia's dogs and cats in the North, please consider a donation towards Oshana SPCA to help with the petrol costs so that the team can keep on with the great work they are doing! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
