Unity with the Righteousness of God is very important for us as Christians. It's written in Psalm 133:1, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! " As we can see from this passage also, unity with God is very beautiful and pleasant in His sight. To be one with God, the people of Israel had to give Him the offering of faith, and by giving this offering by faith and in unity, they were able to become God's own people. This sacrifice that united the Israelites with God was a tremendous blessing for them. Likewise, God wants us His own people to unite our hearts with Him by faith just as He has planned it (the purpose of creation). In fact, faith itself is unity. Faith is all about trust and unity. So, I urge you to have faith, and to live by this faith until the day of the Lord returns.

Have you ever wondered why God gave the people of Israel no fewer than 613 statutes and commandments? This number of commandments has been verified by biblical scholars. But, come to think of it, can any human being really observe or keep all these 613 commandments of the Almighty God perfectly? If this is impossible, then what could have been God's purpose of giving the Law? God gave the commandments to the human race so that through them, all people would realise their sins, and made it known to them that they must go to the Saviour, Jesus Christ to be remitted from their sins.

Emotional Intelligence
Many of us usually think that there must be a way by which man’s emotions or emotional needs can be properly managed. Yes, there is a way and the only way is for you to be emotionally intelligent. Come to think of it, can’t one’s emotions be controlled by an external force? Your answer is Yes, right? It’s true. Some individuals no longer have the minds of their own just because they believe that loving their friends, relatives and partners genuinely is much more important than any other emotional aspiration. Don’t misinterpret me. I’m not saying loving other people who are important to you is bad but allowing anyone of them to have a control of your mind is not worth it. Some people as a result of their relationships have lost their minds, senses of reasoning and soon, such people will experience emotional failure.
Emotional intelligence is very important. It allows a person to recognise and embrace his or her own and other people’s emotions as well as to recognise their cause.
One of the basic components of emotional intelligence is the knowledge and understanding of one’s inner feelings. Before you get attached to anyone or thing(s), you need to have the knowledge of your inner feelings and the key is to recognise them the moment they happen. For better understanding, you need to be sure of your feelings, what you like or dislike, what you love or hate, what you can join and what you can’t join. Take charge of your emotions. People who are sure about their feelings manage their life better and make more deliberate decisions (choosing a career, a marriage partner, a University, workplace etc.).
In an attempt to making a very important decision that has an emotional undertone, an individual needs to be careful. The problem with many emotional decisions is that they are usually irreversible i.e. choice of a life partner. Sometimes, as a young man or lady, you can look at a person who comes once and says No! The dilemma is you may be right or wrong. Before such decision, you need to be emotionally intelligent, understand your inner feelings and go after it but do not forget the place of God. He can help you build an unfailing emotional intelligence.
Why do I need God? It is because as much as you are sure of yourself, you do not have the power to know the other person’s mind. I had a conversation with someone closer to me yesterday. I was happy. I usually enjoy every bit of our conversations both on phone and when we meet. While we were talking yesterday, I said I know her very well but she repelled immediately and said “eeehhh, you don’t know me at all ooo...” I’m talking about someone I’ve known for about four years now. And that’s why you need God.
People who have the ability to control the intensity of emotions are able to calm themselves down and easily free themselves of depression, anxiety or irritability.
Emotionally intelligent people are able to motivate themselves so they achieve better results. They control their impulses, think positively and are optimistic. One day, a friend of mine asked how sure I was in succeeding in a particular project I was working on. My response was “I believe I’ll succeed.” My mind was up for it and I had a focus and at the later end, it was a successful deal.

I was already sleeping last night when a message popped up. I checked to view at least before my eyes could close totally. It was a message from my friend, Oguntoye David. I couldn't resist it, the message was a motivational and beneficial one. Then, he instructed me to flesh it up but while going through it, I realised it already has weight...

``Have you ever taken your time to observe how stronger the Wheel Jack is?

It's very light, easy to carry about by man. But what this Jack can carry, ordinary human power can not.
Yes! The Jack can withstand the heavy weight of a car (automobile). While human being can not."

Does this make any sense to you?

``You see, today, let me share with you the message in the book and what I learnt from Bishop TD Jakes when he came to Lagos.

Unfortunately, much of what I see today isn't about fulfilling one's true potential as much as it is about appearing to fulfill what other people expect. Too many people want the appearance of winning rather than practices and hardwork that create a true champion. They mistake the prize for the art of winning and will ultimately buy a trophy without ever running a race. They didn't take the class; they just have the props. They are not driven to achieve something; they just bust their gut to appear busy to everyone around them.

I've realised that people are just too busy making perception than they make destiny. You want to become successful, but you don't want to pay the price; don't you know that when you are cutting a rock, you have to let go of some scraps? Those Scraps could be pleasure, friends, luxuries. People who make perception of success without carrying the success in them don't go too far in life. You just have to work. Yes, creating a great perception is good but you have to work hard to prove all you have been insinuating.

Dream is something that is common to man. Ask the person beside you his/her dream, you would be amazed that even the vulcanizer in a lonely Street has dreams. But let me put this straight to you, dreams won't take you anywhere if you don't work it out. WE DON'T WORK TO HAVE DREAMS BUT WE WORK TO FULFILL DREAMS. God works it inside of us, you work it outside. If really you want to be successful, oh no, you have got to work. God Worked! Why would He rest on the seventh day if He had not worked and sweated in the past six days? God had his hands dirty by carrying the mud to create Adam. He first thought about it; Let us create man in our image, then in the later verses, and God created man in His image. That tells you God had a dream too but He worked it out. He Worked!

So would you not Work?

Prayer has its place, work has it place. You have prayed, now you are waiting on God when God is waiting on you. If prayer was enough, Jesus wouldn't go on the cross with so much pain no one can explain. Don't hide under deliverance or prayer when you are lazy, it won't still work.

If you had started working on that dream since last year, you would not be where you are right now. The obstacles between where we are and where we are going can be brought down by the works we put in it. George Weah (a Liberian footballer) first sought for Liberian Presidency (2005, aged 39) he failed, so he obtained his SSCE (2006, aged 40). He got his degree (2011, aged 45) and masters degree (2013, aged 47). He won the election to the Librperian Senate (2014, aged 48). He has just been declared the President-elect of Liberian in late 2017 (aged 51) all under 12 years interval."

My point is you have stayed too long deciding, TAKE OFF and do this Thing!

``Sometimes last year, after perusing some case files in a law firm, I decided to flip through the pages of a popular book THINK BIG by Ben Carson. My Boss, seeing the book, smiled and said “Young Lawyer, (he calls me that) you see, the tune has changed, it is no longer ‘Think Big’ but ACT BIG…..”
It is quite not uncommon to see people come up with powerful ideas that can change the world for the better, and the desire of such people is to bring such ideas into reality. However, in between these two stages is a major determinant called ACTION. No matter how beautiful an idea is, if not acted on, it can never on its own leave the confines of your mind. Therefore, as you begin this year, it is not enough to just ‘THINK BIG’; there is a need to ACT BIG too..."

BAE and Submission...

Before Anyone Else or "Brains Are Empty" and Submission!

I'm very sure the meaning of the word "Bae" is not new to us most especially the internet users even to the extent that couples now use it as a term of endearment offering to each spouse. As used in the world of internet, Bae simply means Baby, Sweetie and any other sweet word you might think of.

Either the meaning of BAE is 'Before Anyone Else' or 'Before Anything Else', I think the real meaning is individual specific. Some people's interpretation of BAE is 'Brains Are Empty.'

Every few months, marriage is all the rage in the media because some partners' Brains Are Empty most especially about their destructive take on the word 'SUBMISSION'. Some men think God's commandment of submission in marriage is tantamount to servitude through which these men derive a marital bliss.

Some husbands directly or indirectly either through speech or action regard their wives as Brains Are Empty. They say women have nothing good to offer or contribute in the home. They only need to be submissive not in a form of meekness but in form of weakness.

Who are you to your husband and partner, Before Anyone Else or one of the 'Brains Are Empty' ladies?
If submission in your own relationship or marriage is that ' a woman never says anything', then you belong to the latter. Some men see their wives as brainless beings whose voices and abilities to make opinions have been killed. Thus, such women are always compelled to obey their husbands, praise them even when they're wrong and never utter critical words to their husbands regardless of their treatments of them.
Even the husbands who are religious but nonspiritual misuse God's commandment of submission in a family setting.

Some husbands and men are personality killers. They always limit women's personalities. For some women who have stronger personalities than their husbands whose definition of BAE is 'Brains Are Empty' will certainly raise hindrances against their women's flourishing.

"A woman's ability to submit in marriage is rooted in their relationship to God. She submits to her husband while the husband ultimately submits to God. Therefore, the submission is not virtually about the man. It's about about God-man.

Then, who should fall into the category of the " Brains Are Empty?"

The simple answer is any man who thinks is spouse's brain is empty.
The husbands who fail God, who do not lead like God commanded them are the ones whose brains are empty. They do not love, hurt their spouses so deeply and even expect their wives or fiancées to submit perfectly.
Those men who behave imperfectly and worse, abusing their wives are indeed with functionless brains. Even there's no religion that commands a woman to submit to 'Abuse'

In conclusion, although, some virtuous women wouldn't want to be identified as feminists. The fact remains that feminist movement has influenced them all round ways and such women when they act against Abuse' can be referred to as 'Accidental Feminists'.

Understanding A Few Principles of An Eagle.

Every Eagle has its pride and this pride excites it to aim at the highest pitch which showcases the loftiness of its being.
Eagles fly at the highest height all alone. They do not equate themselves with other small birds or the look-alike sparrows. No other bird can match the height at which an eagle could go.
Stay away from sparrow-like humans who always desire to fly at high altitude but their inabilities make them pretend to be at a high altitude above the land level.
"Eagles fly with Eagles"
Choose or select friends who can make you fly or fly with you without any form of shortsighted nature.

What do you feed on?
Eagles are very selective in making food choices. They do not feed on dead things. They feed only on fresh prey whose blood is still in its natural redness. Although, vultures do eat dead animals but eagles will not no matter how hungry they are. The foods here aren't just the ones you swallow, they transcend to what you feed your eyes and ears with and you must be very careful of these.
Stop passing and promoting old and outdated information. Learn and spend times in innovating fresh ideas.
"Eagles do not share similar table and meats with vultures"

Eagle's perception is one of his great abilities. Eagles have strong vision. They develop practical ideals towards their aspirations. They are endowed with the abilities to concentrate attention on something up to four to five kilometres away. An eagle doesn't give up on a targeted prey. When he sights his prey, he sets out to get it and no matter the obstacles, challenges or obstructions, he will grab it.
"You must have a vision and remain concentrated and no matter the obstacle, you'll succeed."

The Eagle's mode of fighting reptiles is very commendable. The Eagle does not fight the snake on the ground. He picks it up into the sky where it can't be a master because of lack of surface thereby changing the battle ground and then he releases the snake into the sky from a high altitude.
Then, guess what? The snake is defeated already because it has no stamina, no balance and no power to be sustained in the air. It is vulnerable and fallible unlike on the ground where it's powerfully wise and dreadful.
This principle works with our spiritual nature.
You must learn to take your fight into the world of the spirit by praying and God shall take over the battle.
Never fight the enemy in his comfort zone, change the battle ground. Then, your victory is certain!

Accomplishing Your Dreams.

God is interested in dreamers but not just in ordinary dreamers. He loves individuals who love to dream big. He always wants you to remember how special, unique and irreplaceable you are. There are no two of YOU in the world, it's either you or anyone else. Therefore, you're not meant to be like anyone else.
When you decide to become typical of other myopic and lazy dreamers, your destiny will be disadvantaged by the choice you've made. Thus, God wants you to boost the talent, gift and potential and develop each of them to the fullest.

Unarguably, there's a noticeable distinction between the dreamer who accomplishes or realises his dream and the dreamer whose dream becomes a nightmare full of unachieved stories and unfulfilled marks. A successful and real dreamer is someone who dreamt big and devised bigger plans of accomplishing his dream(s), and also followed his plans to the final letter. In a nutshell, a successful dreamer is one who acts on his dream(s).
It's evident that as long as a person can hold on to his goals, then there is always a larger percentage of moving out of the present situations towards setting a milestone.

You are the total outcome of the choice you make daily. You have the ability to stay where you are or you can decide to work towards achieving your dream. I implore you to stop making excuses for why you can't achieve or accomplish what you were destined to do.
Allow positive power to be transmitted into you. I challenge you to know that there's a question which can only be answered by you alone in the world and any failure to solve It, it might remain unanswered for generations.

You posses the power and the responsibility to shape your future. Remember once again, you were made to achieve something that no one else can accomplish or achieve.
Chase after the biggest and the highest thing you could go after. If other people tell you how impossible the achievement of your dream is, laugh it off, dream bigger again and determine on how to surprise them.
No matter how challenging it gets, never give up because your dream coupled with God's wisdom is the only instrument to fulfilling your life's destiny.
