The most important factor you must know boss is that,cane corso breed don't grow very fast like other mastiffs their growth is slow and steady can be compared to that rottweilers but incase that narrative change abnormally 2 things can be considered
No 1 genetics
No 2 litter size

1 genetics:- genetically cane corso are bred to have medium size,great length (mesomorphic),great stamina due to the sturdy and robust body,so all this are hard to achieve by the cc puppy that grows very fast,cc puppies posses 70% of what their owners should look up to in future at their tender age, and they maintain it with their slow growth until 4 years at maximum.....tough neck, broad skull, moderate muzzle,flat back,big strong bone,broad chest, elegant movement are often maintain through slow and steady growth of cc as designed.

1 litter size:-this is another key factors that can affect the growth positively or negatively......but also depends on the bloodlines,a giant cc dam that litters just 2 puppies the owner should expect abnormal giant puppy that can sometimes be mistaken for another breed like wise a female of standard height 24 or 25 inches that give birth to just 2 puppies will also have something far bigger at almost maximum standard 26 to 27inches......reason is this the puppies have full access to the whole 10 ni**le everything belongs to them so in such situation puppy of 2 weeks old are already at the size of 6 weeks old, so the number of litters is another factors to be considered before claiming one cc is bigger or smaller, the most important thing is dt no matter what we breed standard ethics must be our guard to know if we are actually breeding cc or something else.thats my take I come in peace.

The surprising story of the dog convicted of killing a cat with "political contacts" PEP was sentenced to perpetual chain in 1924 by the murder of a cattle of the Governor's family of Pennsylvania.

He spent his whole life in the infamous prison he hosted criminals like Al Capone. Pep was part of one of the most amazing cannabies in the world when he was sentenced to the perpetual chain in Eastern State Penitentiary, on August 12, 1924, for the murder of one of the members of his family: the cat. This jail housed criminal emissionable personalities such as the Copone. This labrador is one of the first pets in having a police tab. It was a gift of nephew for the governor woman of Pennsylvania, Cornelia Bryce, who had a loved cat who was the victim of the natural instincts of the dangerous CAN. "He had killed the Governor's wife cat," said Annie Anderson, a researcher of the historic site in the state penitentiary in Philadelphia, which now works as a museum. An article of 1925 in The Boston Globe shows the incredible made with an unusual photograph of a dog in a chair next to two prison officials who stop behind him whose owner affirms: "The Governor's dog is sentenced by the murder of a cat, according to a statement of the penitentiary". Pep spent all his life in prison and, more, he had his own prey number (C-25599).

There is even a police tab and a photo taken in which they take it from the neck. Without doubt it became the darkest and feared dog of his time as clearly his detention was a clear political manipulation initiated by the governor's wife. However, other theories claim that his only crime was to break a couple of lady's armchairs so, before the PAP aggressive and destructive behavior, the governor decided to confiscate it to the penitentiary as a psychological support for prisoners. Undoubtedly, this unique dog won the heart not only of the guards of the penitentiary but also of the prisoners, who, among all, took care of the bed of his death. The can died for natural causes and was buried in prison. Many versions claim that history arose from the imagination of a reporter who wanted to give hearing the young newspaper for which he worked. From the publication of the UNESPNase of PEP in the newspaper, the son of the governor said, according to the Dogs of the Roshistory, his father received almost daily letters with criticism for his attitude.

SENDING ADULT DOGS OVER LONG DISTANCES

Comfortability of the dog all through the journey should be a priority else it may die on the road.
Crate should not be big and shouldn't be too small either, my prefer size is 2by2 feet square and 2.5feet high which will allow any adult dog to stand, sit and lay down or switch positions with the little space available reducing fatigues and cramps.

This size wooden crate can take two sits in any bus or siena used for long distance transportation in Nigeria so be ready to pay within 12,000 to 20,000 naira depending on the destination of the dog and also the agreement with the transporter.

However, many dog breeders uses basket to do this but the biggest basket I have seen tends to be less comfortable for adult dogs and in most cases they use the boot of the car to reduce cost and having dog battling the terrible heat through the journey.

Wooden crates cost less to make, lesser than the cost of both big baskets needed to transport adult dogs. It's safe to transport aggressive dogs which maybe violently trashing around or been agitated as result of less comfort and and anxiety of leaving you and having to stay among strangers for the journey. Leaving the receiver to battle a loaded gun or receiving a dead dog.
