The most important factor you must know boss is that,cane corso breed don't grow very fast like other mastiffs their growth is slow and steady can be compared to that rottweilers but incase that narrative change abnormally 2 things can be considered
No 1 genetics
No 2 litter size

1 genetics:- genetically cane corso are bred to have medium size,great length (mesomorphic),great stamina due to the sturdy and robust body,so all this are hard to achieve by the cc puppy that grows very fast,cc puppies posses 70% of what their owners should look up to in future at their tender age, and they maintain it with their slow growth until 4 years at maximum.....tough neck, broad skull, moderate muzzle,flat back,big strong bone,broad chest, elegant movement are often maintain through slow and steady growth of cc as designed.

1 litter size:-this is another key factors that can affect the growth positively or negatively......but also depends on the bloodlines,a giant cc dam that litters just 2 puppies the owner should expect abnormal giant puppy that can sometimes be mistaken for another breed like wise a female of standard height 24 or 25 inches that give birth to just 2 puppies will also have something far bigger at almost maximum standard 26 to 27inches......reason is this the puppies have full access to the whole 10 ni**le everything belongs to them so in such situation puppy of 2 weeks old are already at the size of 6 weeks old, so the number of litters is another factors to be considered before claiming one cc is bigger or smaller, the most important thing is dt no matter what we breed standard ethics must be our guard to know if we are actually breeding cc or something else.thats my take I come in peace.
