I sat down and watched this movie again today.


- 'The Ultimate Gift' -


I can't count how many times I have watched it.


One of the parts that still stood out for me was when Jason discovered the true story of how his father died.


How he went back to read all the letters his grandfather wrote him after the incidence, which he never read.


One sure way to heal from past trauma and negative significant emotional experiences is by revisiting it with the help of a professional.


You revisit it to draw up positive lessons which you were supposed to have learnt for the event to be a blessing for you.


Once lessons are drawn from the past traumatic event, you break free from its hold on you, and also freed to glow and soar.


You see clearly how it has affected you and put you in your current situation and prevented you from making progress in so many areas of your life.

My son was born on the 8th of October, 2022 (I had to ask my wife to remind me of the date sef). 😬😬🤭🤭


Till today 13th November 2022, we have not named him. 😝😝😜😜


Everyone that asked for his name had shown surprise that we have not named him.


Honestly, I seem to be enjoying the ride.


The norm is that a child's name is known even before he/she is born.


With a simple scan, the s*x is known and therefore it makes it easy to name the child before his/her birth.


Some people don't even scan for gender but go ahead to prepare unis*x names or have male and female names ready to name the child.


Please let me ask...


What's so special about naming a child seven days after birth?


At some point, my older daughter and son decided to be calling their younger brother different names for each day.


Others just use their name for him regardless the gender.


Lots of meanings have been given to this delay in naming our son. 🤣🤣


Some have been bold enough to ask me, others just showed it with their physiology.


Aunty Talatu Inusa Usar had asked for the name some time ago.


I told her I will name him and tell everyone.


She warned that I will have to slaughter a big cow and celebrate to compensate for the delay. 😅😅


Now that my wife and I have decided on his name, I still feel like delaying small. 😄😄
