A 9-year-old male lion attacked and killed veterinary technician Mr. Olabode Olawuyi, while he was rescuing a staff at the zoo of OAU in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Report has it that the Late Mr. Olawuyi had been caring for the lions since their birth at the zoo about nine years ago.

This ugly unfortunate incident happened on Monday Feb. 19th, 2024.

May God give his family and all the bereaved there fortitude to bear the loss.
