Milan has a family 😱 Through shares on social media, a family has been reunited with their dog 🩷 Milan aka “Lucy” has been missing since December, when she ran away after being scared by the bombas 💥 After over a month of being lost, Lucy was very happy to see her family again when they came to pick her up from SOS Clinica Veterinaria 💞

Bambi came to us last week after being hit by a car & left in the road. 💥🚗 She has suffered from both external & internal injuries which we believe, with time, can be healed. 🤕 She is about 7-9 months old & a complete sweetheart. 💗

💙 MEET CHLOE 💙
Chloe is a 4-5 year old female pit bull who was abandoned by her family & left in a short chain in their backyard to suffer to death. 🫣 Luckily, for the last 6 months, the neighbors have been feeding her scraps and making sure she has water to stay her alive. 🥹🐾
The neighbors informed us of the situation & we are now involved, helping Chloe to get back to good health with a hopes for a future adoption. 😍🐕
With Chloe being in the constant sun, rain and all of the outside ailments of Nicaragua, she is very sick & severely underweight. 🌧🤒 We also found a cancerous tumor on her back leg that we will need to get removed and begin chemotherapy treatments. 🩹🐶

SOS Animales went “undercover” on Wednesday & investigated the recurring puppy trafficking problem near the Uno gasolinera. 🐶🆘
Here is what we found as shown in the video: ⬇️🥺
✅ No drinking water was present in ANY cage.
✅ The puppies showed signs of parasites, skin problems, illness, or lethargy
✅ They we’re all handled aggressively, without love or care
✅ The man admitted to not knowing the Mom or Dad, their history, or health backgrounds, and presented us with faulty vaccine cards
✅ The puppies were taken from their mother too young at only 1 month of age
✅ All of the puppies were bought from breeders in Masaya to be used for money to resell
✅ The puppies were allowed to walk on the sidewalk to eat their own diarrhea or trash
✅ This puppy trafficking act goes against Nicaragua Animal Protection Law 747
By buying one of these puppies (priced at $150-$200) because they are “purebred” or to “save” them, only helps encourage these men to continue using animals as a currency! 😢🐾

SOS Animales se puso "de incógnito" el miércoles e investigó el problema recurrente del tráfico de cachorros cerca de Uno gasolinera. 🐶🆘
Esto es lo que encontramos como se muestra en el video: ⬇️🥺
✅ No había agua potable en NINGUNA jaula.
✅ Los cachorros mostraron signos de parásitos, problemas de piel, enfermedad o letargo
✅ Todos somos manejados agresivamente, sin amor ni cuidado.
✅ El hombre admitió no conocer a la mamá o al papá, su historial o antecedentes de salud, y nos presentó tarjetas de vacunas defectuosas.
✅ Los cachorros fueron separados de su madre demasiado jóvenes con solo 1 mes de edad
✅ Todos los cachorros fueron comprados a criadores en Masaya para ser usados por dinero para revender

This sweet boy was found emaciated, neglected, filled with parasites, & had the worst case of TVT cancer in his pen*s we have ever seen. 🤕 He received 4 full rounds of chemotherapy & a pen*s amputation & is FULLY HEALED & HEALTHY!! 🙌🏽 We owe everything to his amazing foster mom who has helped him learn the life of being a loved dog. ❤️🩹

Every Tuesday & Friday we have cat sterilization day at SOS Clínica Veterinaria! 🏩 This is a public sterilization day where we open our doors to feral cats and the locals’ cats, to spay & neuter. 🐈 By continuing this program we hope to decrease the frequency of trash kittens we receive on a weekly basis. 🗑🐈⬛
