Zoë & Francis Drake score 80% in the 5-year-old class at the NAF Dressuur Talent Berlicum! 🏆🐎✨

What a day! 🎉 At the NAF Dressuur Talent Berlicum, where the best young dressage horses competed, Francis Drake once again showed what he’s made of. 💪🔥

In the 5-year-old class, he and Zoë displayed incredible calmness and class. ✨ He moved with such ease and suppleness, as if he had been doing this for years. The judges were absolutely thrilled and awarded their test with an impressive 80%! 🙌 They were unanimous in their verdict and explicitly stated: this horse has a great future ahead. 🌟

We are beyond proud of his progress and can’t wait for the next competitions! 💙🔥🐴

Yesterday, we were at the Brabanthallen for the presentation and award ceremony of the KWPN Stallion Competition. What a fantastic moment to see Olaf Official shine in this setting! 😍

We are incredibly proud of how quickly he is developing and how well he is growing as a combination with Zoë Kuintjes. The fact that he has only recently started serious dressage training and is already showing so much quality makes it extra special. A horse that scores like this and gets to present himself at the KWPN Stallion Show… the future looks bright! 🌟

A big shout-out to the other top contenders as well! Odin with Dirk Jan van de Water and Ojee-B with Anouk Slabbers put on fantastic performances. It was amazing to see these talented stallions together in the ring! 👏🎠

Dua Lipa is turning 8 this year and joined us as a 5-year-old. From the very beginning, Zoë felt a strong bond with her. Even though she was completely green for her age, Zoë believed in her potential—and that turned out to be a fantastic decision!
With her lineage from Daily Diamond and just two years of training, Dua has made impressive progress. She is currently confirmed at Dutch Z2 level (equivalent to US Third Level) and is already mastering the initial elements of PSG (Prix St. Georges). Movements like the pirouette come naturally to her, showcasing her ease and grace.

🎉 From Baby to Powerhouse! 🎉

We just received new photos of our amazing stallion Francis Drake, and we couldn’t be prouder! 💪 Last year, he arrived at our stable as a “gentle giant,” even though he was already over 3 years old. Some boys just take a little longer to mature… and apparently, that applies to some stallions too. 😉

Francis Drake was bred by Caroline Van Zele, a breeder known for producing countless successful horses. We first met him with Femke de Laat, who had just started his initial training. She immediately recognized his incredible potential and laid the perfect foundation for his future development. Thanks to Daniel Mosterdijk, who helped us make this match, Francis Drake became part of our team – and we are grateful every single day. 🙌

At the end of last year, we carefully introduced him to his first competitions, and he has developed at lightning speed! Everyone who knows “Fransje” sees a completely transformed horse: from an inexperienced youngster to a powerful stallion with a bright future ahead. 💥

A Day Full of Highlights at the KWPN Young Dressage Talents 2025 in Huijbergen! 🐴✨

Yesterday, we traveled to Huijbergen, near the Belgian border, for the KWPN Young Dressage Talents 2025. A beautiful venue with top riders and horses from both Belgium and the Netherlands. It was the perfect opportunity to assess where we stand in preparation for the 2025 season.

With three horses, we had a fantastic day filled with valuable experiences!

🏅 The Surprise of the Day: Ogy from Cayenne Stables

Our lovely Ogy, an amazing mare who has been in training with Zoë for just two months, impressed us enormously! With an outstanding score of 81.5% in the 6-year-old category, she demonstrated her incredible talent. This promises great things for the future! 🌟

🐴 Francis, Our Westphalian Promise

Francis made us incredibly proud as well. After an intense season in the Subli, we gave him some time to regain his full strength. Yesterday, he performed beautifully: relaxed, focused, and cooperative. He scored just under 80%, and there’s still so much potential in this stunning stallion. We’re taking it step by step and enjoying his wonderful character and work ethic! 💪

🌟 Oege, Our Frisian Star

Last but not least, our Oege, an impressive Friesian stallion. He delivered a beautiful test and worked brilliantly. However, he scored 75.8%. With all due respect to the judges, we thought the score was a bit conservative. 😅 Well, it’s no surprise—we brought a Friesian to a KWPN competition, staying true to our slightly rebellious nature! 😉

We look back on an amazing day with three horses, each delivering impressive performances. It was a day full of learning, joy, and great experiences. All horses were ridden by Zoë Kuintjes, and we are immensely grateful for her dedication and the fantastic results! 🙏

Olaf and Zoë take an impressive 3rd place with 80%! 🥉🎉

Today, we traveled to the far north, and this time not to our familiar Friesland, but to Groningen. We competed in the International Indoor Concours Hippique Groningen 2024-2025, where we participated in the 3rd selection round of the KWPN Stallion Competition with Olaf. 🐴✨

What a stunning venue and a beautifully organized event! It was an amazing experience to compete among so many fantastic horses 🏇, riders 🧑‍🎓, and an enthusiastic audience 👏.

With an incredible 3rd place 🥉 and a score of 80%, including an outstanding 8.8 for the walk, we are so proud of Zoë and Olaf. 💪🌟 Olaf has only been with us for six months and was previously trained for carriage driving. The difference in strength compared to the top contenders who took 1st and 2nd place is clear. But strength is something we can work on! 🏋️‍♀️🔝

Thanks to this performance, we’ve qualified for the finals of the KWPN Stallion Show at the end of January. 🏆🎠 We’re looking forward to competing there, doing our very best, and enjoying this incredible event.

After the finals, we’ll roll up our sleeves and work hard. 💥🔥 During the outdoor season, we aim to show what Olaf and Zoë are truly capable of. That 1st place? It’s absolutely within reach! 💯✨

Looking Forward to an Amazing 2025!

What a year 2024 has been! When we started this year, we had healthy ambitions and a clear vision for the future. But what ended up happening exceeded all our expectations. We could never have dreamed that 2024 would be such a success.

Thanks to our incredible horses and the amazing ladies who train and ride them with so much love and professionalism, we’ve experienced moments of pride and joy. The positive feedback from our clients and the great results at competitions have given us tremendous energy to keep pushing forward. It motivates us to invest even more in ourselves, our team, and our horses.

This success, however, is just the beginning. We can already reveal that big plans and ambitions are on the agenda for 2025. As a stable and a team, we are committed to growing further, improving ourselves, and reaching new heights together.

We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our loyal partners, who have once again played an essential role in our success throughout 2024.

✨ Kije is off to Spain, olé! ✨

It feels a bit like an empty nest syndrome just before the holidays… but we couldn’t be happier about this fantastic match! 🥰 Our handsome Kije is heading to a wonderful couple in Spain, where a beautiful life awaits him. 🌞🇪🇸

Luckily, he’ll stay with us in training until early February, giving us some time to mentally prepare for his departure. But in February, it’ll be time to say goodbye. 💔 This is exactly why we do what we do: connecting amazing horses with amazing people. It’s always such a rewarding feeling!

For those worried we might run out of horses 😉—rest assured! New horses are already in training, but we’ll only introduce them once they’ve reached the Cayenne Stables standard. Plus, we’re actively in talks with other stables to find more exciting prospects.

We’re ending 2024 on a high note and have so many exciting and ambitious plans for 2025. Stay tuned! 💫

Our Dearest Frits is Moving to Germany!

A wonderful new owner in Germany will soon welcome a stunning black pearl: our beloved Frits. 🖤✨

We are lucky to have him with us until the end of January 2025. 🐴💖 After that, he’ll leave for his new family, who is eagerly awaiting his arrival. 🏡❤️

But we’re incredibly proud: an impressive score of 79.6, with the highest marks for gaits and an 8.5 for walk. A brilliant and well-deserved 2nd place 🥈✨ What a venue, Peelbergen in Kronenberg! 😍 Stunning and bustling with energy 🏛️👥.
