Dhr. Nico Krol verteld mij recentelijk dat deze Argentinus dochter de lieveling van mijnheer Buys was. Wat voel ik me vereerd dat ik elke dag met deze paarden uit de nalatenschap van Johan en Lies Buys mag werken en fokken!
Heel blij met een prachtig merrieveulen van Mans (Comme il Faut x Quidam's Rubin x Charisma) uit Cille.

Nice story about Toledo Z. He will be used on one of my Fomia mares (KWPN Elite mare Zelle Fomia by Voltaire x Nimmerdor x Ramiro) this year.

Over the years, the collections of Elite Foal Auction Borculo have already yielded many international sport horses and approved breeding stallions.

⭐ One of the latest highlights is the newly KWPN-approved stallion Toledo VDL (Tobago Z x Chellano Z), that was named Tavi Z at birth by breeder Rudy van der Bruggen of Poppel, Belgium.

⭐ Four years ago, this grey stallion emerged as top seller of the jumper foals at Elite Foal Auction Borculo.

Today in the picture: "Jelle Fomia" (2014 mare by Corland out of "Zelle Fomia" (Elite EPTM) by Voltaire x Nimmerdor x Ramiro Z) and halfsister to Hindoctro Fomia (1.40 m showjumper by Indoctro)
Jelle is ridden in 1.30 m class by Judith van Neer and her mother, Zelle-Fomia is in foal to the promising young stallion and KWPN performance test champion "Mans" (Comme il Faut x Quidam's Rubin).

Very soon, the first Fomia foals of 2023 will arrive... Therefore, we want to put the first expecting mare in the spotlights:

"Wolille Fomia"

Wolille was born in 2003 out of the prestatie mare "Olille-Fomia." Wolille is by Indoctro x Voltaire x Nimmerdor x Ramiro x Lille- Fomia (1970) by Millerole XX. Lille-Fomia (her story and photo can be seen in my previous post) carried the Preferent, Prestatie and Ster Predicate of KWPN.

There are many KWPN predicates in this damline and Wolille herself carries the Sport, Elite, EPTM, PROK and D-OC predicate.

Wolille was active in showjumping up to 1.35 m. level with Dave Maarse and was then pulled back from competing to be a broodmare. Dave described Wolille as a very hot, but strong built and scopey mare, that had a lot of "go" in the ring.
She also has a lot of size with a stick of 1.76 m.

Her first offspring "Golille-Fomia" by Emilion is a successful broodmare in Poland and her foal, named "Keenan Fomia ZW Z" finished 9th place in the Zangersheide Foal Festival of 2017.

Last year, we did not have a lot of luck with Wolille, but for this year, she is in foal to Donthargos (Don Diarado x Conthargos) available at stal de Wiemselbach in Oud Ootmarsum.

This will probably be Wolille's last foal, so we really hope we will have a little breeder's luck at our side this year. Fingers crossed...

Blast from the past! Meet Lille-Fomia, born in 1970 (bred by J.J. Buys, from Boxmeer) and a daughter of Millerole XX x Admiraal x Graaf van Wittenstein x Caesar x Donno x Domburg. This is the damline of the stallion “Usurpator” and the first mare registered in Horsetelex is “Grietje” by Domburg, born in 1922. I am very proud and thankfull for getting the opportunity to breed with a damline that is over 100 years old. And look at Lille-Fomia, I believe she was a quite modern typed mare in her day, don’t you?

Today in the picture, the 🌟 of our stable:

“Ulille Fomia” (Voltaire x Ramiro Z x Nimmerdor x Millerole XX) was bred by J.J. Buys in Boxmeer, the Netherlands.

Ulille, or “Ulli” as we call her, was born in 2001 and measures 1.69 m. During her career, she was ridden by Dave Maarse up till 1.50 m. level in showjumping.

Furthermore, she received the Elite, PROK and Sport predicate by KWPN. Unfortunately, there are only 2 offspring registered, named “Hulille Fomia” (by Inshallah de Muze) and “Iloctro Fomia” (by Indoctro).

We hope she will bring us an awesome foal by “Mans” (Comme il Faut x Quidam’s Rubin) this spring. Fingers crossed for this golden oldie with awesome genes and great dark chestnut looks!

In this video we see Fleur Fomia, ridden in the 1.45 m 2nd qualifier by Paul Estermann for Switserland in Münster in 2018.

Fleur Fomia is a 2010 mare by Singapore (Acorado I x Cantus) out of Kelle-Fomia (KWPN Elite mare by Nimmerdor x Ramiro Z x Millerole XX and then the founder of the Fomia damline Fomia herself, by Admiraal x Graaf van Wittenstein.

It is such a lovely mare, of which we are very proud! Fleur Fomia is also bred by Wim Boltjes in De Lutte.

Many horses of the Fomia damline ended up abroad, jumping their hearts out for their new owners. This also goes for this awesome chestnut gelding, born in 2008 and bred by Wim Boltjes in De Lutte.
His name is "Delmonde" and he is by Chacco Blue out of the Elite mare "Kelle-Fomia" by Nimmerdor x Ramiro Z x Millerole XX.
Kelle-Fomia is also the mother of the 1.45 m jumping mare "Fleur-Fomia" (by Singapore), of which I will try to share some more details later.
Delmonde is currently jumping 1.45 m classes in the USA with his very talented and skilled rider Allison LaJoie!

The 1.60 GP horse "Einstein" (Clinton x "Jelle Fomia" Elite, Preferent, Prestatie, PROK by Nimmerdor x Ramiro x Millerole) Was bred by W. Boltjes in De Lutte, and produced up to Grand Prix level by Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA).

Einstein is one of the many great references for the Fomia damline!
