With a solid base education, rides on new terrain feel just like at home... ✨️
A familiar face moved in at my own location for a month of "external" training experience! 😍
This was his 2nd day "away from home" after making him zadelmak at his own stable, and his first ever ride here.
I loved to see and feel how relaxed and trusting he is. It really proves once again how important a solid base education is, and why it is so important that the horse feels 100% comfortable with the rider.
What a champ! 💪💕
Very thankful for the owners' trust 🙏 ✨️

Introducing human limbs for the first time ✨️💪🥸
Love to see the difference of this sweet boy's reaction from the first time I spread out my arm, to the last times!
Repetition, patience, and allowing the horse to react, are key components to a relaxed partnership with the horse and a safe foundation based on trust. 💕
This is his second time free in the roundpen and 3rd time cantering under saddle. 💪

Different horses, different approaches 🦄
You can't work after a certain schema with all horses. Each horse needs to be worked more or less differently than others. 🦄
This gelding has a very sceptical personality, he is sceptical towards new things and his first reaction is always "NOPE, I don't want this" and he makes it very clear. 🙅♀️
Yet he learns very fast, once he understands, that what we ask of him is not going to harm him.
Most horses I mount in the arena already, so they are used to the environment.
This little KWPNxFriesianxPRE gelding however was very strong and did not give me the opportunity to mount him in a bigger arena, even after a lot of preparation from the ground.
So I decided to try it inside a box with him.
The first attempt was less smoothly than what is seen in the video, he was of course confused by the situation and running a little faster on the circle I steered him on.
But after repeating 2-3 times, he already understood that I want nothing evil and accepted it!
It is wonderful to see how he chews and thinks through the whole process. That's also why I keep important sessions like these short, as horses cannot actively focus for much longer than 20min.

Checking out our new riding arena with Mirza Moon 💕
It is lovely to see her grow up! She was very unbalanced at first, during the process of starting her under saddle, and fell over her own feet many times. What helped her was a break off work to grow up in her body!
Since she already knew the basics from last year (left, right, walk, trot, canter, stop, backing up) it is much easier to pick up work again now!
The first ride after her break was very unspectacular, just how we want it. 💕
Thank you @Connective Horses for the opportunity to work with little Mirza from the very beginning. 🙏
