FIREWORKS FREE ZONES ~ ALMERE 🧨❌
New Year's Eve is coming! A festive moment, but also a time to take each other into account. That is why the fireworks-free zones will remain in effect this year. This way, we protect animals in parks and nature reserves and limit nuisance in the area.
From 6:00 PM on December 31, 2024 to 2:00 AM on January 1, 2025, you are allowed to set off fireworks, but only outside the fireworks-free zones. Setting off fireworks is not permitted at all within these zones.

You are never allowed to set off fireworks on the Staatsbosbeheer site. These areas are purple on the map. The municipality's firework-free zones are orange-red.
Zone 1: animal shelter
The area around the animal shelter, bordered by the Grote Vaartweg (at the intersection with the Groene Kadeweg and the Gordingweg), Groene Kadeweg and Gordingweg.
Zone 2: Noorderplassen
The nature reserve north of the Noorderplassen, bordered by the Lepelaarplassen, Natte Graslanden, the Vaartsluisbos, Drijfanker, Kompas, Radar, Oogsplits, Eindsplits, Hogering, Boegdreef, Kombuis, Trekvogelweg, Trekvogelpad, Muiterseiland, Zeeroverseiland, Pirateneiland, Vaartsluisweg, Vaartsluispad, Hangbrugweg, Grote Vaartweg and Oostvaardersdijk.
Zone 3: Pampushout
The Pampushout area, bordered by Godendreef, IJmeerdijk, Pampushavenweg, Galjootweg, Boegdreef and Hogering, Spoorbaanpad and Wim van Estpad and the area around Polderland Garden of Love and Fire, bordered by Pampushavenweg, Oostvaardersdijk, Galjootweg and Brinkweg.
Zone 4: parks
The parks Beatrixpark/Den Uylpark, Cascadepark, Ebenezer Howardpark, Kemphaan Stadslandgoed, Lage Vaartoever, Laterna Magikapark, Leeghwaterplas/Hannie Schaftpark, Lumièrepark, Meridiaanpark, Muzenpark, Noorderleede Oever, Eastern Green Wedge, Overgooische Zoom, Polderpark, Vroege Vogelbos/Beginbos and Western Green Wedge.
Zone 5: Weerwater
The public area directly on the Weerwater, consisting of the Esplanade, Meeresteinkade, Fongerspad, Sturmeypad, Malus, Bergsmapad, Fontanapad, De Fantasie, Maastrichtkwartier, Oeverpromenade, Hengelostraat, De Pier and Koetsierbaan.
Zone 6: Almeerderstrand
The Almeerderstrand area, bordered by the IJmeerdijk and Oude Landweg.
Staatsbosbeheer areas
The Staatsbosbeheer areas where fireworks are not permitted are: Almeerderhout, Buitenhout, Kromslootpark, Oostrandpark, Poortzone and Zilverstrand.
Thanks to these zones, New Year's Eve is festive, safer and environmentally friendly for people and animals, with attention to our environment. We count on your cooperation and wish you a wonderful New Year's Eve.
De jaarwisseling komt eraan! Een feestelijk moment, maar ook een tijd om rekening te houden met elkaar. Daarom blijven de vuurwerkvrije zones dit jaar van kracht. Zo beschermen we dieren in parken en natuurgebieden en beperken we overlast in de omgeving.
Van 31 december 2024 om 18.00 uur tot en met 1 januari 2025 om 02.00 uur mag je vuurwerk afsteken, maar alleen buiten de vuurwerkvrije zones. Binnen deze zones is het afsteken van vuurwerk helemaal niet toegestaan. Op het terrein van Staatsbosbeheer mag je nooit vuurwerk afsteken. Deze gebieden zijn paars op de kaart.
