Freya. Our most cuddly Barnevelder Bantam is a mom! We don’t have a rooster, so we bought her some fertile eggs, so technically she isn’t the biological mom, but she did all of the hard work the last few weeks and takes care of the babies with so much dedication😍

HEY! We’ve made some changes in our feathered family and it gave us so much more peace & quiet. Back to where we started. Finally there’s room again to fully enjoy the birds ánd make pictures of them!

We now have 3 sweet Bantam Chickens roaming around (Freya, Sol & Siff) and an aviary with Coturnix and 2 button quail ánd our stunning Superb Starlings.
•
This is Batu, born here and thriving. You can tell by the eyes (not yellow yet), colors (they wil get brighter) and beak (wil be totally black) that he’s a juvenile. But he’s already singing and helping his parents (Blue & Jay) with the new nest.

She did it! A video of our one day old Coturnix chicks bred by their own mom/aunt We bought her as a chick from Hobby kuikenbroederij broeder-ei and now she is a mom all by herself 😍

Just woke up at 03:30 and found this little first born 🐣😍

We’ve moved the 4 week old chicks to their outdoor enclosure

We can watch this for hours 😍

And then there were 13 & counting
