A day in the life of a pet sitter
We'll never get tired of the way Sara grabs our hand for more belly rubs. Do your dogs do this too?
The daycare crew out on their morning walk before a day of playing, treats and cuddle puddles.
Day 12: Ken from Team Tails cycles 2,000km in 12 Countries in 12 Days
Apologies for the delay on this last update. The Gen-Xers at Team Tails had some technical issues!
We are so, so, so proud of Ken and all he has achieved for charity. If you would like to donate to cancer research, the link to do so is in our bio.
Please note that walks are cancelled for the rest of this week due to the high temperatures which are too excessive for more than a quick potty break.
Daycare and boarding services are still in operation.
Sorry for the lack of posts recently. Summer holiday season is in full swing and we are busier than ever!
No doubt you are aware of the upcoming heatwave next week, resulting in conditions in which it is not safe to walk dogs. Therefore, all walks on Monday and Tuesday are cancelled.
For those cancellations, daycare is available if your dog has already completed a trial. We will have the shaded terrace and pool area running as normal to help keep pooches cool. Please book in the normal manner if required as spaces are limited.
The week that was.
We're sorry our social media has been quiet lately. It's been an incredibly busy few months with so many people returning to offices and wanting to travel again, and sometimes, something just has to give in order for Team Tails to also get some down time and re-energise so that we can continue to give our all to this job that we love so much.
We don't just walk dogs y'know! Leo the kitty loves a wee stroll. That is when he's not busy impersonating a parrot.
After a couple of weeks of spring cleaning, we - and the dogs! - are very happy that Tails Terrace is back in business.
The doggy pools are still in storage as it's not QUITE that warm yet, but they'll come out as soon as we need some cooling options.
Are we just the cutest or what?
Wishing all our snugglers a very happy Valentine's day today.
May your day be filled with love and cuddles.
We may have been holding treats a little longer than they would like!
We were warned that Ophelia wouldn't become our friend during our week of visits, and it's fair to say, we're not besties.
But with patience, patience and more patience comes reward and she definitely warmed up to us towards the end.
When looking after cats, we never push their boundaries. At the very least, we'll always ensure they are fed, watered and have access to a clean litter box. Obviously, for those who want it, they also get play time and tickles, but for those like Ophelia who do not like strangers getting too close, we will happily just sit and keep them company from a distance with which they are comfortable.
