7 years of build up 🦷🪥this beautiful girl had never had her teeth cleaned so she was certainly due a good clean!

I love it when we get amazing results like this😍…but remember, every dog is different and some will require more/less sessions than others!

I always recommend starting out with a package of 3 sessions which will allow us to get the mouth into a healthier condition before going onto 8-12 weekly maintenance sessions 🪥

Did you know that February is ‘Pet Dental Health Month’? 🦷🐶

Now is a good time to share that for the month of February there will be some discounts to help pet owners get into a dental hygiene routine with their dogs.

Dentals & Doodles offer an ultrasound teeth cleaning service for dogs, which is completely silent, vibration free & sedation free. 🪥

This is a positive, non invasive service taking between 30-45 minutes, with 0 risk or recovery time.

The ultrasound also helps to increase the blood circulation within the gums, so normally after a few sessions, inflammation will have reduced. This is a great way to keep on top of your dogs oral health.

✨However, it is only recommended for dogs with mild-moderate tartar build up. This is not a replacement for necessary vet dental work, and is designed to be a preventative method. You can send a photo if you’re unsure. ✨

I’d also like to note that most vets during February offer free teeth check up! This is a good way to check if your dog needs vet dental work, or if they should start with a preventative method such as this! 🐶

Always a pleasure to see this lovely boy, Hope! He’s been coming to me for the past 14 months now 🥹🥹🥹and so great to see that his teeth remain in lovely condition.

Prevention is better than cure! Even if you think your dogs teeth are ‘not that bad’ it’s better to get on top of things before it’s too late and they need a vet dental under sedation, which we want to try and avoid unless absolutely necessary 🦷🪥

Toby had a vet dental a couple of months ago and started to develop some plaque, so I removed this and he’ll now go onto a maintenance plan to prevent it the build up and therefore preventing another clean under sedation 👏🏼

Super happy with how Bing’s session went! 🥹 Bing’s mum mentioned prior to our session that he can be quite sensitive with his teeth, so we weren’t 100% sure how the session would go. However he surprised us both and did SO well.

I believe this is a good demonstration that the environment can really influence how a dog responds to certain things. I try to ensure that your dogs time with me is as positive and enjoyable as possible so that they feel comfortable with the process. It also really helps that the Emmi Pet device is completely silent, vibration free & doesn’t require brushing motions. This means that most dogs are very accepting of the process & we can achieve great results with patience! 🦷👏🏼✨

One huge benefit of this treatment is that I DO NOT need to sedate your dog to remove the tartar and clean the surface of the tooth. This is all done by working positively with the animal starting nice and slowly and guiding them through the process, with them trusting me to treat them. The treatment is completely silent, motionless and vibration free.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to put a post out to explain a little more about Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning, which has been a hugely popular service. Emmi-Pet is revolutionising dental care for dogs across the globe, allowing them to have their teeth cleaned without having to be put under anesthetic. Once introduced correctly, this unique toothbrush is generally well accepted by dogs, as not only is it soundless and vibration-free, no actual brushing or scrubbing is necessary.
