This transition marks a collaborative effort between our two companies to ensure a smooth and seamless handover, gradually welcoming Veldex’s clients into the Hortilife network.

🚢 Customer Day at Koninklijke Rotra Groep: An Inspiring Cruise on the Most Sustainable Eventship through Rotterdam!🌍

On July 5, 2024, our logistics team had the pleasure of participating in a fantastic customer day organised by Koninklijke Rotra Groep The event took place aboard the sustainable eventship and offered a unique opportunity to explore the beautiful Rotterdam Maasvlakte and skyline.

The program started with a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast, followed by an inspiring meet & greet with Rotra employees. After a comfortable bus ride to the ship, we were welcomed by Barry Huisman, Branch Manager, who gave an inspiring welcome speech.

A big thank you to Koninklijke Rotra Groep for organising this unforgettable customer day. We look forward to future collaborations and further growth in our logistics efforts!

NEWS ALERT! New year = New opportunities 💪🏻

Starting off the year with good news! ✨

Hortilife and TSS are going to build a new glass greenhouse for our client in the South of Russia. This project of 1,7 hectares will be used for the cultivation of cucumbers. Hortilife will deliver a turn key greenhouse with an Air & Energy system for saving energy and creating a perfect micro-climate in the greenhouse to optimize the production. The Air & Energy system will also help to minimize/avoid diseases like Mildew and Botrytis.

The greenhouse will include all the other needed systems for growing cucumbers, like an energy screen system, a heating system, a CO2 system, a high pressure fog system, a Sercom climate computer control system, growing gutters, irrigation systems etc. The completion of this facility is scheduled at the end of summer 2022.

Project Greenhouse 1,0Ha District Arad, Romania Our colleagues were at the construction site last week to go through the construction process with the builders and customer. In addition to the many video conferences due to the COVID-19 measures in Europe, Hortilife continues to do its best to maintain personal contact with the customer and the builders on location.

Hortilife is building a 1,5Ha glass greenhouse near Vilnius in Lithuania. We started to build in August 2020. The ultra modern and fully automatic lettuce line in the greenhouse is ready and will be now tested. In collaboration with our partner Ammerlaan we build a 1,5Ha glass greenhouse with a white powder Venlo construction. Also the irrigation system, climate computer etc. is engineered by Hortilife. We are proud that we have expanding our work and export area.
