A surplus of grape leaves....
Kato and Daisy enjoy their dandelions!
We are very happy with all the help from our fantastic volunteers, employees and everyone who helps in any way. During the summer holidays, the volunteers also need a holiday, so we as a family help as well. The cutting and providing of the vegetables is therefore currently literally in Australian hands :)
It's peak time with holiday guinea pigs in the shelter! We now have a lot of extra mouths to feed and of course we do that with pleasure!

Sasja and Seppe on their way to their new home!
Seppe was supposed to be castrated, but that turned out not to be the case. Not very surprising that we found a litter a few weeks later.
Two healthy sows! Sasja had some start-up problems because she had an udder infection, but with extra care this was quickly under control. The babies grew well and after 4 weeks they were allowed to move to their new owner. Time to move too for the parents!
Of course they received a tasty snack of dried dandelion leaves for the journey.
Dundee is tasting some veggies!
Hello everyone.... have a nice Sunday!
By popular request..... a delicious box full of herbs for your darlings. But what exactly? That's a surprise and it's different every time
Maybe you remember that story of Sasja and Seppe? That cute couple who had been living together for six months without any babies being born? When Sasja and her boyfriend Seppe were brought, we had Seppe castrated as quickly as possible. And whether it's a coincidence or something else isn't quite right, Sasja gave birth to two adorable daughters on Thursday. Aren't they super cute!! The little ones are doing well and have already found a new owner. Mom and dad are also reserved and will also move after raising the litter.
Bell pepper season is on!!
After a pedicure during walk-in hours, a nice fiber stick as a reward 😃
Guinea pig talk 99 is here! Enjoy!
Kruintje demonstrated some snacks for guinea pigs during our monthly guinea pig workshop :)
