𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗷𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁!
At the beginning of January, we traveled to the beautiful city of Zurich for the installation of a new project: Aquarium Seerose. After meeting at the Interzoo trade fair in May, we’ve spent the past few months working hard on the design and realization of a unique, fully customized animal department.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Aquarium Seerose and especially to owner Sandra for the great collaboration. Sandra shared her thoughts on working with us:
"From the very first day at Interzoo up until the installation, we felt completely at ease with Aquaja. Our questions were always taken seriously and answered with great patience. Thanks to the 3D designs, we were able to visualize the animal enclosures in advance. The installation day was a bit nerve-wracking, but it went very smoothly. The technicians were friendly and very involved. The enclosures have been approved by the veterinarian, and we are looking forward to our grand opening on February 1st."

The Tom&Co Lanaken project presented its challenges, including a tight timeline and the need for customized products. However, the end result speaks for itself – a stunning new store that showcases our commitment to quality and innovation.

After extensive design sessions between the Aquaja and Planters at Bretby team we have been given the green light to start this amazing project which will feature a state-of-the-art new pet and aquatics section. We won’t be sharing all the details, but can’t wait to get the project rolling.

Last Friday, we truly said goodbye to our fantastic colleague Piet, better known as Pietje. Even after officially retiring, he continued to help us every morning, showing the same dedication and commitment. Now, he can finally enjoy his well-deserved rest for real.

Since joining Aquaja in 2008, Pietje has been an invaluable asset. Always ready to help his colleagues with a smile, his signature humor, and boundless energy. Whether loading and unloading products or carefully and safely packing our projects, Pietje made sure everything ran smoothly. He brightened every workday and always managed to bring a positive atmosphere.

To show our appreciation, we celebrated Pietje one last time last Friday. The walls were covered with his well-known phrases on tiles, reminders of his unique personality that will stay with us. With great food, drinks, and so many beautiful memories, we shared an evening that none of us will soon forget.

Pet Bliss, a family-owned company, operates three stores in Ireland, including the country’s first and only themed pet shop in Drogheda. Following our successful partnership on the Pet Bliss Dundalk store, we are thrilled to be entrusted once again with renewing the small animals, reptiles, and aquatics sections in both Drogheda and Wicklow.

Our Story

Aquaja is an internationally operating company, based in the Netherlands, with more than 20 years of experience in customized shop fittings for the display of livestock.

We produce animal-housing units for the sale of tropical fish, pond fish, reptiles, rodents and birds. The units are designed and manufactured by experienced specialists who focus on quality and appearance.

Besides our shopfittings Aquaja has years of experience with customized aquariums and special projects. Under the brand name Aquaja Diamond we produce and deliver customized aquariums of high quality. To do this we work together with the best aquatics shops in the Netherlands, Belgium and other countries. Our dealers are carefully selected and have all the knowledge needed to assist the consumer. We also have our own standard aquarium line: the Aquaja Diamond Line. The Aquaja Diamond Line is available in 3 models.

We are located in Echt (the Netherlands) and we operate within Europe and even outside of Europe. Our sales office, with the support of our French speaking, German speaking and English speaking sales representatives, work together with our international clients.
