Soulmate is sired by the genetically intriguing Nixon du Park, who was KWPN-approved with 79 points and presented his first official crop in 2023. Dam Lapatera Ryal K was invited for the Dutch Mare Championship (NMK) as a three-year-old and competed up to international 1.30m-level under Ernesto Canseco after earning 81.5 points in the mare performance test.
Lapatera Ryal K is not only the full sister of the international 1.50m-level competing KWPN-approved stallion Flying Dream but also the half-sister of the 1.50/1.55m level showjumper Denychin Ryal K D Lobstination (s.Chin Chin) ridden by Jane Richard. Soulmate has the same granddam as the 1.50m-level jumper Javall Ryal K (s.Zavall VDL), who performed with Lasse Nรถlting at the European Young Riders Championships. This line has also produced the international 1.50/1.60m-level performers Benerife Ryal K (s.Tenerife VDL) and Hespro Ryal K (s.Arezzo VDL).
