This gorgeous lady, Sky, brought us a lot of laughter and smiles with her goofiness and unbounding joy in being outside and playing with sticks. Phoebe, Sarah, and Sky all know each other from outside of Playful Paws and they were the perfect trio. Looking forward to the next time these ladies come together!

Poor Era wasn’t feeling too well, and Phoebe went into comfort mode and stuck close to her side. We made Era her own spot behind the couch so she could still look out the window while she rested. And we had the pleasure of a visit from Bobbie the cockapoo again! Just like last time, her favourite spot was perched on the back of the couch behind my head 🥰

Silver, the most gentle giant 🤍 He has a calming effect on Phoebe (and people!) and is always respectful and careful with the lady dogs. A very Good Boy.

Phoebe is so lucky to have so many pals to play with! Last week we have had a busy house with Sarah, Billie, Reeves, and Era. It’s always fun to go up or down the stairs and see expectant faces waiting for you 🐶

Loet! This handsome big boy is one of Phoebe’s friends from our neighbourhood. It was great to have him for a visit! He was lief, affectionate, gave lots of hugs (especially to Daan!) and we were in love within minutes 🥰

We are feeling much better and ready to open up for all of Phoebe’s friends! Availability below. We only host 1 male dog at a time, and will give priority to whoever asks first.
But first! Daan came across this gorgeous cow on a walk with Phoebe near our house 😍

Hello friends and clients of Playful Paws! 🐾 I apologize for the delay in getting up and running since returning from Christmas vacation. Everyone in the family is down with some virus/chest infections, but we’re getting better asap! Phoebe is the only one who isn’t sick, but she misses her buddies and can’t wait to be running through these fields with them again soon 🥰

Such a gorgeous, warm, and sunny day today. A nice break from all the rain. Sarah and Phoebe wanted to be outside and frolic as much as possible, lots of walks and playing in the back yard, soaking in the warm rays. And a mere few hours later in the evening - snowing!! Yay! As a Canadian, this gets me very excited ❄️😁

Look how handsome this gentleman is! He not only has the good looks, but he is also charming, sweet, and so gentle with the smaller dogs. It’s been a slice Silver! Until the next time 🤍

Jetje the cupcake (or should we call her a pupcake?) continues to be the most cuddly little friend we’ve ever had here. Some chilly rainy days have given us extra opportunities to snuggle up in blankets and for Silver, curling up in Phoebe’s donut bed with an extra fluffy blanket. It’s his favourite place to lay down here, and even though he barely fits, he makes it work!

We’ve had a wonderful week with loads of friends! Billie, Reeves, Yenthe, and little Jetje (pictured in the first few pictures). She’s a Russian Bolonka cross and is the softest little cupcake of a dog, we are all in love! 🥰

A wonderful few days with friends Billie and Reeves. They loved the walks outside, running offleash into the wind, and we enjoyed watching them have such a great time! Billie sleeping on my arm (first picture) was so cute my heart melted ❤️

Sisters Cindy and Olly also stayed with us last week! It was their first time staying with a sitter. They were inquisitive, loved being outside, and loved snacks and mealtimes even more!

We’ve had so much fun with so many furry friends these last couple of weeks! Delays in posting pictures because we also had family staying from Australia 🇦🇺. They joined right in with all the walks and cuddles!
First up, Era. We absolutely love this adventurous little lady!

Sarah was here for a day, supervising in the kitchen and napping on the patio with some of her favourite toys around her. Other friends visiting have been Reeves, Billy, Misty, Dasha, and Jetje. They are all keeping Phoebe (and us!) busy! 🤩

Misty and Dasha are also here! Sisters from the same family, they stick close to each other and like to do everything together. On walks they take their time to smell all the new scents out there, and when we’re home they want lots of snuggles!

Due to some of our crowd no longer needing dogsitting services, we were able to welcome a couple of new dog friends to our home.
One of them is this beautiful young lady, Lena. A sensitive and gentle girl, wanting to connect with those around her and checking in often with Phoebe to make sure all is well. It’s a real pleasure to have met her and her lovely pawrent! We also loved our time with Silver, the king poodle, this week. As my husband said several times, “He is a cool dog!” A big cuddly teddy bear 🥰
