Always nice to see when handlers put in the effort and time to do there homework! Proud of Alexia with her mini schnauzer Abi!😊
Mini schnauzer, new detection student in the house. He is so funny. He likes fast movement and is very smart! You go Abby and handler!
MacKenzie: BIG progress
Progressing in detailed/effective search and no 'running of' in the beginning of the search. I have to move slowly so she will not get in an arousel state.
Blocking her at the start of the search and target placement of the hides. Hides in the beginning of the search so the expectation will be high in the beginning and she will sniff immidiately with a high intense sniffing frequenty. She is still fast but we will keep working on this.❤️🔥🩷

I really like this student!😁 searching is her new hobby and she is good at it!💯 rewarding by throwing something is not an option, probably something soft we can 'give' her from the side. That's why we are rewarding her like this. She is not turning her head, so this will work.
PROUD!
Impression of this weeks foundation training (All dogs). Mostly we focused on the lower placed targets and longer indications. #scentdetection #k9training #detectiondogtraining #detectiondog #k9life #cockerspanielpuppy
Today I started systematical search with Hunter. First 2 or 3 searches I put the target at the first few bricks in de wall so she search from the point where I ask her to start searching so she will not miss them. I walk in the same peace all the time while she is searching independently. In one search, there was some residu from a previous target, but she was not giving a strong indication and went searching again immidiately. In another search you see I keep walking and she is working the taget scent and stayed there and indicate despite the leash tension swiping her bottum to the left, so: good progress to see that!
