Utopia Equestrian Estate will be a sustainable 5-star horse facility - renting out stable units (per 12 stalls) to professional showjumpers. The completely new centre will provide state-of-the-art facilities with a spacious indoor and outdoor arena, luxury stables, private tack rooms, multiple covered walkers, lunge pens and grass paddocks. There will be several high-end apartments to rent for gue

sts who have horses stabled at Utopia as well. Next to this, the estate will include a revalidation centre for horses with a veterinary clinic, a (water)physiotherapy centre and a fixed farrier place. The completion of this revolutionary and environmentally friendly equestrian estate is planned for March/April of 2024.

It has been a few weeks since we've welcomed our first guests: the team from 🙏With the horses all settled in well, it was our pleasure to invite everyone to a barbecue in the newly finished courtyard between the stable units.

With good food, great company and young ones around it was a fantastic evening!

We had the honour to be chosen as one of the float topics for the carival parade this year🥳 Carnavals Vereniging De Kieveloeët

We are so proud to see that the village of Meijel is also excited to see our equestrian estate open its doors this spring! The carnivals club's creative take on the horse wellness services, the matching outfits and even a special song were absolutely fantastic🙌🏻 🐴🛁😀

And many congratulations are in order, because the neighbourhood association 't Zónnedöpke, the makers of the Utopia float, won the parade👏🏆 Thanks to everyone for making our first carnival in Meijel very special🙏

Just a few more months and the stable units will have this finished look🤩

With a total of 4 stable units, each counting 12 stalls, there will be 48 horses maximum that we can welcome to our estate once it is finished. We can't wait to see these stables filled🐴😀🏡

Rain or shine our outdoor arena will always be available thanks to an eb-and-flow system🌧️☀️ With a size of 40 x 90 metres there is lots of room to flatwork and to jump a training course.

The footing of our arenas is in the expert hands of Limburg-based company LHK Projects 🙏

It’s been such a pleasure to be a part of the CSI3* event JPM International last week with so many fantastic horse-and-rider combinations jumping our fence🤩

With our flyers also tucked in the horse passports the word is really out in the horse community that we will offer top-level stabling & housing starting the spring of 2024🏡

On Wednesday, February 1st, Esther Bakker-Laplooi kicks off with the construction of Utopia Equestrian Estate on the Langstraat in Meijel, the Netherlands!

This will be a one-of-a-kind, environmentally friendly equestrian facility with a focus on the all-round care of both rider and horse. This equestrian centre, located in the South-East of the Netherlands, is born out of passion for horses and the art of horsemanship. The centre provides an exclusive, sustainable, top-sport environment where riders and horses from all over the world meet and choose only the best training facility for their horses and themselves. The focus at Utopia Equestrian Estate is on the well-being of horse and rider and all facilities' can be found under one roof.
