My big red African boy was a bit tired due to heath season of our girls but he showed himself great and got great critique.

𝘕𝘢𝘺𝘥𝘺𝘯 came along for company, cuddles and some extra training, so it was a little African trip.

This litter season is hopefully Jobiraki-time in The Netherlands 🤞

I’m planning my first litter with a Jobiraki-girl but hopefully a second Jobiraki girl will be a mommy this year.

𝗡𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗮 walked & behaved great after a long day waiting. Judge could only choose 1 dog per group. She wasn’t selected but awesome practice!

Group 5 judge: K. Baldwin (UK)
𝗞𝗲𝘃𝘆𝗻 rushed into the ring, but was selected Top 6. During individual judging he showed himself great (freestanding could be better but he was tired 😅) and stole the show with his movement.

Last week was very exciting & exhausting.
I am proud to update you that Sully and Bakari have been mated.

We will know in mid-November whether the mating was successful. Our future puppy interested parties have of course already been informed and are waiting impatiently with Astrid and me.

My crazy happy ‘wokkelientje’ 𝗡𝗮𝘆𝗱𝘆𝗻 is already 1 year old!

This girl continues to surprise me with her funny, unpredictable character. She is always cheerful, social, enterprising and loves adventure.

In February she came from Slovakia to The Netherlands. Since then, every day has been a party in Jobiraki’s pack and we have already experienced wonderful adventures.

Can’t believe my black powerhouse is celebrating her 6th birthday. She’s my first Basenji puppy and making my dreams come true.

• EE (Nyeusi x Kevyn): 8 puppies

But most importantly; She is the anchor of my pack, my zenmaster and every day is amazing with her.

Platinum Winner 3 October 2024 in Celje (SLO) Judge: Espen Engh 𝙉𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙖 (Ch. Bosko Bokari Olyana Nouvelle) Champion class 2VG Very critical judge who gave a lot VG’s (8 out of 17) and withholding RCACIB’s so not sure what he loved to see 🤷‍♀️ Luckily Fieke & Nyana had fun and enjoyed their day. In the Netherlands there is a Junior Handling Competition (up to 17y) where young handlers are assessed on their skills, handling and knowledge of the purebred dog. Last Saturday 31 August 2024, participant Fieke asked if she could use Sully (J. Admirable Amidala) for the competition. Even though Sully loves shows, it was still exciting because Basenji’s aren’t the easiest breed in strange hands. During the preliminary rounds, Fieke & Sully were thoroughly tested with all kinds of figures and exercises. The final was in the main ring where they again had to do various exercises. Fieke and Sully were such a synchronized team and enjoyed the crowd in the ring. As a breeder I was so proud to see 'my' Sully like this! Fieke won the competition and is qualified for the final Best Junior Handler NL end of November 🏆
