I knowww you have been waiting on these next tips so here are 3 tips for raising a dog.

• Tip 1🐕‍🦺
Your dog is a part of your family so it's important to manage your time properly even if you have a busy schedule.

Be sure to schedule some interactive time with just you and your dog. Spending quality time with your dog strengthens your relationship with him and also can relax a busy person like you.

Do not forget to schedule dog-free time too. Schedule time in everyday where he is left completely alone to rest. Training your dog in a crate can give him a safe place that is only his own because he needs the break too.

• Tip 2🐕‍🦺
Dogs thrive on rules and structure,so it's important to set limits.  Your dog should have a clear and consistent set of rules that everyone in the house follows with the dog. Post them on the fridge!

For example : let him wait at the door. Teach your dog he may not run through doors to the outside without your permission.  Make sure everyone in the house always follows this rule. Keep in mind, dogs are very bad at generalizing. so this means that you should not yell at him when he does something you don't like. This will only confuse or frustrate your dog and cause naughty behavior.

• Tip 3🐕‍🦺
As your dog ages, make sure to keep his training steady. So keep up the training. Even after he learns all the commands, play with him and call out random commands. When he does as he is told, give him praise and treats. This will keep him sharp and make him a better, more well-behaved dog as he ages.
