Training movie of February '21
This was the first training with Elvis. Elvis was scared of everything and just wanted to pull the leash constantly (to be home quicker 😆). A lot of dogs pull the leash and don't walk 'besides you in a relaxed way' when they don't want to be aware of their surroundings / are scared / are not connected with you while walking. In this video I am training him to be 'leash focused' and learning him that there is a leader (partner) on the other side of the leash. Elvis is wearing multiple leashes here since he was known as a very reactive dog and I still needed to get to know him.
This is an old video and when you see the other videos you see that Elvis has grown amazingly and is now leash focused and a happy dog who enjoys being in different surroundings. It's all about trust, patience, showing him you are his leader and giving him love and motivation.

Elvis came a long way, seeing movies like this one from 3 months ago you can see it's now a totally different dog. Elvis learned the command like the recall command quickly, but you can see on this movie he isn't comfortable. He is very alert, not relaxed and scared and rather wanna run away then to stay.
