💜 I really love this photo of Lyvia in her Jumppa!

The color Aurora is beautiful 💙

With this cold, wet and windy weather the Jumppa is perfect to keep the body dry and the muscles warm. Lyvia is a senior dog and feels really comfortable in this sweater 💜

~~~ Cauliflower~~~

🌱Cauliflower is a cruciferous vegetable that our dogs love to eat😋

🤍 Cauliflower contains many useful nutrients for our dogs and therefore has many health benefits.

🤍Cauliflower, for example, contains various B vitamins in addition to vitamin C. And since I started studying for orthomolecular nutritional therapist, I only realize for how many physical processes the presence of sufficient B vitamins is essential.
This means that with a deficiency of these vitamins, the body cannot function optimally😯

🌱 Each vegetable has its own benefits. That is why it is so important to vary and in this way, among other things, provide different vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

🤍 Cauliflower provides the body with essential nutrients that strengthen the immune system and help your dog stay healthy.
Cruciferous vegetables contain several antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that may boost the body's defenses against certain diseases, including cancer.

🤍 Cauliflower is high in fibre and support a healthy digestive system.

🤎 How much Cauliflower?

2 grams of vegetable for 1 kg of bodyweight a day.
So if your dog is 10 kg, it's 20 gram vegetable a day. You can mix cauliflower with other vegetables.

🤎 You can feed it raw or cooked, steamed, or bake the cauliflower in a little Coconutoil.
Make sure you grind the Cauliflower, whether it's raw or cooked.

I use the Wobble a lot, cause Chase is a sensitive dog and he really calms down through licking the bowl 💙

😕 Unfortunately, quite a lot of dogs experience anxious moments in the last few months of the year. Especially dogs that are already very insecure themselves can now take a step back and lose themselves in their fear.

🤎 I think it's important to supplement these dogs so that their bodies get enough nutrients to continue functioning properly, such as magnesium for example.

I am already looking forward to learning more about feeding and supplementing for anxiety during my training as an orthomolecular nutrition therapist.

💗 Until I know more about that, I like to use music myself, which has been proven to calm down anxious dogs. This in combination with the use of lick mats. I prefer them to food toys during this period.

Chewing can also help your dog to relax a bit. Some dogs are so afraid that they are no longer accessible to the outside world and therefore will not do anything with a bone or lick mat.
A slightly longer massage can then help to get more rest in the head.

🤎 Try to use the tips when your dog is still available. Because he can relax in between and the stress hormones drop again... he can handle the world a little better afterwards.

💗Life with a fearful dog can be quite intense. What helps your dog to relax?

He is 6 months old now and not so little anymore 🤭

😈 Don't watch if you're easily frightened😉

💜 Handsome Borus loves getting all that attention and likes to play a scary mummy.

I love the adventure of October..........

🍁 The month of October always feels so different to me than the other months of the year. The days are suddenly getting much shorter.... different temperatures, different clothes..... different food..... the environment has changed..... And despite the fact that there are changes every month, seems to be the worst in October.

🍁It makes many people happy and the animals can also enjoy nature and the better temperatures outside.

🍁 But for the insecure dogs, October can be quite exciting.
The wind, rain, umbrellas, suddenly walking in the dark......there are many more scents they smell......and unfortunately in some places the fireworks start.

🍁During stressful situations Chase is unreachable outdoors, but in the house he responds very well to massage and food enrichment.
Lick mats work best for him then. And he can even handle thunderstorms and fireworks well when he is inside with me.

🍁 I'm trying to work on it a bit more now 🍁

Offering Licking mats, sniffing, chewing .......

🍁 it is best to start building up things now, so that you can see what works for your dog.
