This is Rhoda (Jaden and Bruno's human mom). I just want to thank everyone who follows this page for your love for Jaden. Losing him so suddenly has left us very heartbroken. And we are very thankful for Bruno who is a great comfort in this time. He is a lovely, affectionate and eager-to-please puppy and we already see him gaining more character and growing in size.
I will continue to keep this page alive with stories about Bruno and memories of Jaden.

In honour of Jaden, we chose to wear something white for our Christmas picture this year. And he continues to be with us every Christmas in our hearts, memories and in the glass bauble that dear friends gifted us with last year!

Guess what? I went to church today!! Ok - daddy picked me up after the church service because they had a potluck lunch with the praise band teams and I have never been alone at home so long! I was scared in the beginning because there were so many new people but then I was courageous and met so many nice people who liked me!! Made me wish my brother Jaden had been with me - he was always so sad that he couldn’t go to church with mummy and daddy. Mummy told me that people at church are so sad about him and they were worried about me being alone…

On Thursday I had an overnight stay at the farmhouse. Mummy and Daddy wanted to see if I can manage alone without my big brother. Of course I managed- the girls there are soooooo nice and there are so many friends to okay with all day!! I can’t wait to go back ❤️

This was exactly a week ago. Daddy told me that my big brother Jaden was very sick and that he had to go to pick up mummy from the airport since she had been away. So I told him not to worry-I would keep watch over my brother. I may or may not have fallen into deep sleep…

My brother Jaden taught me that when we go for a walk in the neighborhood and we hop onto the benches and tree stumps, mummy gives us a treat and calls us rock stars. So I tried it today and it works!!
I got a treat!

I know mummy is sad because my brother Jaden is not here any more. This morning I decided to cuddle her and give her some kisses before we went out for our morning walk. I was a bit enthusiastic and knocked her over 😳.

We are back from our short vacation at the farmhouse and I was so glad to see that we hadn’t missed Santa Claus while we were gone! Back to watchman duty!

As an elder brother, I have to help my younger brother to learn all sorts of things. Like how to sniff at spots and identify THE right ones to do what a dog has to do. Mummy doesn’t get it why we have to stop and sniff at a spot for ages.. but what should I say?
