Marcel & Brian Sangers 1st Ace AVI Rings after 6 races

The International One Loft Race AVI Rings in Slovenia is at the doorstep of the final 3 Races covering 500 km each … After the first 6 official races between 110 and 405 km the NL25-1100486 of Marcel and Brian Sangers leads the Acebird competition with 6 prizes and 282,80 Ace Points. AVI Rings started with 2,450 birds.

The leading pigeon is bred from 1st Hirson 722 b. winner ‘Tina’, cross of Van Den Bulck x old Sangers x ‘Best Kittel’ genes. She was paired to a son of ‘Pagani’ (from 1st Nat. Ace KBDB Blue Best Kittel’) x sister to ‘Lilly’ (2x massive 1st). AVI Rings organization claimed: “Winning a top position 6 times in a row on AVI is nothing short of exceptional.”

Granddaughter ‘Daniël’, ‘Banksy’ and ‘Gold Dust’ excelling on middle distance!

After 3 middle distance races the NL23-9105965 of Sangers Pigeons is doing very good! In hard circumstances she is 1st preliminary s-provincial Ace middle distance of +4,600 birds with the following 3 results:
14th Soissons 364 km 4,628 b.. speed 1236 mpm on May 3rd
43rd Chalons En Ch. 381 km 3,820 b. speed 1278 mpm on May 10th
11th Reims 359 km 4,097 b. speed 1104 mpm on May 17th

The 965 is bred from the original P**A Breeding c**k ‘Dani’, son of 1st Nat. Ace KBDB Sprint ‘Daniël’ x wonder hen ‘Shakira’ … mother is ‘Divalux’, 100% Van Den Bulck from ‘Banksy’ (topson ‘Kittel’ with own mother ‘Rosita) paired to wonder hen ‘Gold Dust’, best breeding sister to ‘Kittel’ in the world.

Great end of the 2024 racing season

Last weekend the racing season 2024 ended for Sangers Pigeons. A hard edition of Chimay (269 km) with head winds and low velocities. For Sangers the last great selection moment. The young bird team did very well, in Rivierenland they did very well in the acebird competition:

Fastest Sangers pigeon on this heavy Chimay was NL24-9212966, winning 2nd prize against 1,421 birds (velocity 1161 mpm). He is direct from ‘Azzuro’, purchased at Leideman Brothers from their Nr. 1 pairing ‘Arturo’ x ‘Tila’ … crossed to the Sangers top racing hen ‘Silvie’

Sangers young bird team in top shape at the end of the season

The 2024 season is almost at the end; the last discipline is the late tour with 5 races between 170 km and 360 km. Sangers Pigeons send their young birds team to this discipline for experience and they show fine quality directly with very good results … like on Tienen (174 km) in Rivierenland South-East*:
1-2-4-9-14-18-22-23-27-28-etc. against 2,133 b.
1st prize: NL24-8212982 is from ‘Ardit’ (son ‘Banksy’ x ‘Angelina’) x dght. ‘Daniël’
2nd prize: NL24-8212775 is from ‘Banksy’ (‘Kittel’ x own mother) x ‘Inbred Dght. BKII’

After 3 races (from 5) the Sangers youngsters also dominate the acebird competition:1-3-5-6-8-11-12-etc.
Provisional 1st acebird: NL24-8212941 is grandchild of ‘Goldstream’ (‘Skittel’ x ‘Gold Dust’) and ‘Davina’ (‘Junior’ x ‘Sister Best Kittel II’)

Gysberts-Sangers partnership excels with 1-2-3-4 YB 3,559 b.

On the second young birds race of the season the partnership between Johan Gysberts and Sangers Pigeons excelled again. Racing under the names Gysberts-Sangers and Lorena Gysberts (Johan’s daughter) they won 1-2-3-4 against 3,559 birds from Luyksgestel (115 km). An important part of the racing team are pigeons based of Sangers-bloodlines.
