Huge congratulations to another #expandyourlimits campaign winner, preparing for their first wild camp adventure! 🏕️🐾 We're eagerly awaiting part 2, their first night under the stars, and wish them the best of luck on this exciting journey! 🌠
"Bear and I’s dream for our next big adventure is a wild camp!!! It’s something I’ve never done before and have always been too scared to try on my own. Bear has given me the confidence to do so many new things and I know he’ll be by my side every step of the way for this. The @nonstopdogwear campaign #expandyourlimits gave us the extra push we needed to get started!!
The first step is getting Bear comfortable with a small tent that I can carry. We decided a good place to start is the garden. As you can see he really enjoyed helping me unpack it 🙈😂 and every night since then we’ve been working on getting him comfy relaxing in it (top tip = lots of treats). We hope to share part 2 with us spending our first night in there together very soon💪"

Here's how to fit our Protector life jacket on your dog 🛟 🐕 Make sure your dog's life jacket fits snugly to prevent slipping in the water! 💦
Ever wondered if your dogs need a life jacket? Dive into our page and learn more!💦🐕
Do dogs really need life jackets?
Do dogs really need life jackets?
For safety, you are advised to always use a life jacket for your dog when being in or by the water. Activities like swimming, paddleboarding or being out with a boat, canoe or kayak should all include a life jacket as accidents can happen even to the best swimmers. The risk increases with colder temperatures, when your dog swims longer distances, or when swimming in deep or moving water.
- Even a healthy dog should use a life jacket. Even a fit dog can get cramps when swimming, for example, says canine physical and rehabilitation therapist Marianne Grønvold.
In distress, a dog will often drop their back end causing them to quickly disappear under the surface of the water. A life jacket will help keep your dog afloat and reduce the risk of drowning.
Having your dog wear a life jacket can increase your safety as well. The life jacket makes it easier to handle your dog in case of an emergency. This is particularly important if you have several dogs with you. The support from a life jacket also makes swimming less tiring for your dog, enabling them to swim for longer distances.
- A life jacket is necessary for dogs. First of all because of safety, but also as a part of the training routine. There are dogs with different conditions, there are dogs that aren't natural swimmers, and there are dogs of different ages that need the extra support from a life jacket, says author and canine physical and rehabilitation therapist Line Østerhagen.
When introducing a dog to water for the first time, a life jacket will give them a positive experience with the new element by providing extra support and stability. This helps lay the foundation for lots of fun in the years to come!
Rock harness long
NEW!
One harness - limitless possibilities!
Introducing the Rock harness long, an all-in-one harness that also aids with pulling:

❗Hurry up if you want to bring the Rock harness long on your summer adventures, as it won't be restocked until the end of the season!
🐕- 🏃♀️With the goal of developing the most versatile multi-use dog harness on the market, we used our experience from dog powered sports to make a harness that also aids with pulling. The support strap at the base of the harness distributes the pressure evenly at top and bottom for optimized power transfer when pulling. This makes the Rock harness long suitable for activities like canicross, bikejoring and skijoring for dogs that are pulling moderately.
The Rock harness long is also a great choice for obstacle races and trekking, as it is equipped with a solid handle. When assisting your dog, their weight is distributed evenly over the entire belly panel.
If you don’t want your dog to pull at all, there is a no-pull attachment point in front in addition to the standard leash connection point at your dog’s back.
The harness is highly adjustable around the neck and chest. Four side release buckles make it easy to take the harness on or off.
Like the other products in our Rock series, the Rock harness long is made with our unique three-layer material combination, HexiVent, offering excellent breathability and comfort.

Is canicross good for dogs?
Running with your dog can be beneficial for more than your dog’s physical health. It can also be a good form of mental stimulation.
It is natural for dogs to be active. Physical exercise can help address problems such as separation anxiety, stress, destructive behavior, and boredom. Hugo in this video is an excellent example of that!
Canicross can also help avoid becoming overweight, it can strengthen muscles for other dog sports, and it can simply improve your dog’s overall health.
All types of dogs of all sizes and ages can participate in canicross as long as you respect the limits of your dog. Get out there and have fun together!
