mporary edge. It took a trip to Las Vegas to inspire the Fredrikstad, Norway-based designer, Siw Amina Bech, to start Furry Tales. It was SIw's birthday, and she’d taken the trip to Sin City to visit with her human daughter and celebrate. Of course, she took along her two precious Chihuahua babies, Molly Amelia Button and Emma Yazemine Button, both adopted from US shelters. One of her presents was pearls and other bling. Influenced by the over-the-top Vegas culture, juxtaposed with her own culture and the strange motel they stayed in (there was a moose outside the entrance), Siw started playing around with the pieces. The next day, while walking her dogs in Town Square, each wearing a creation of hers, she got an order. So it was started ...
