When driving long distances with a cat, it is essential to stop and go for a little walk every few hours. Both cat and human need to stretch their legs, eat, and have a potty break. This is a place we found alongside a gravel path next to the road we were driving on. This place was so serene and tranquil. Could definitely have camped here if I hadn't been short on time.

It was too windy today and he was not a fan and kept complaining loudly, so we made it a short walk. He was very happy to go back to the car and refused to go out again. I had planned for more than that but hiking with a cat you have to let them decide when it is enough.

The days may still carry leftovers of summer but the evenings and nights definitely starts to get chilly. Bati loves his new sweater so much he actually hisses at me when I take it off. Kind of nice to find some clothes he loves that much. As we made our walk through the forrest in the late afternoon sun we could actually hear a wolf howling in the distance, definitely a sign that fall is here.
