IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Over the past few days, misleading information about the medicine, "Ivermectin" has been circulating over different social sites and pages, we would like to sincerely request everyone to pay attention regarding this note— strictly avoid giving any medicines to animals around you without proper guidance and treatment by a professional veterinarian.
On a serious note, the below medicine should be used only under the supervision and proper medical examination by a professional veterinarian. There are types of scabies/mange for which different doses and medications are used. The dose should be given according to the weight of a dog. With unwanted amount of dose, this med is fatal in various cases and may lead dog to a death.

We rescued Kitty yesterday at midnight from the street. She was bitten by the community dog and was seriously injured. She was constantly bleeding, unable to move, and had hypothermia. we took her to the emergency vet service and is currently under our care.

Considering the reproductive health and safety of the community furries, our team were successfully able to spay 7 more female community furs this week from various localities (especially within Lalitpur valley) for an early prevention possible. Hope our effort to manage the local dogs’ population will be supported by donors, local community people, doctors and volunteers. For smooth running the operation, we urge you and your family to support our campaign for the needy ones.
Also, we would like to express our thanks to community people for helping us for this campaign.

Why Spay?
- The population of street animals especially dogs are uncontrolled and unmanaged
- During mating season, male dogs fight miserably which leads to injure one another
- Abandoned pets are suffering and therefore turned to helpless street animals
- Spay/ neuter helps in birth-control and prevents from potential transmissible disease
- Prevention is always better than cure

We rescued Birdu who fell into pond and unable to
come out. She is not well and unable to fly. We'll keep her with us untill she recovers.
Hope she can fly again.



Birdu left us 3 days after rescue. May her soul rest in peace. 😞

Do you remember Pangri? We rescued her 3 weeks ago from Patan. Some sort of parasites were found in her blood which made her drastically lose weight, had loss of appetite, nasal discharge and absolute weakness.
After proper intensive care and treatment, she is doing absolutely fine and is under our care.

We rescued Pangri from Pimbahal, Patan. She was lying desperately in need of help, had loss of appetite since days and discharging mucus from eyes. We took her to the hospital, did all the required treatments. She is diagnosed with blood infection (Parasites in blood). She is currently under our intensive care.

We pray for her speedy recovery.

With the monsoon approaching, dogs (esp. street and community ones) have high chances of spreading diseases as they get exposed to rain and muddy surrounding. Dogs get more prone to diseases and may worsen if not cured on time and neglected over minor health issues.
Considering this, we are targeting to conduct spay/neuter at least 12 community dogs in the core area of Lalitpur (esp. Patan area). Therefore, we urge you to contact/ DM us. Depending upon the need of the community, we would select your area for healthy spay.
