We were able to complete a 'One Day Spaying of Street Dogs Camp' at Jharwarasi, Godawari Nagarplika with our amazing 4care team

With motivation to bring positive change in the lives of street dogs and to reduce street dog population, we were able to spay 49 dogs. Our special thanks goes to the Ward Office of Jharuwarasi for sponsorship of spaying program.

This mother dog can only show love to her puppies because most of her puppies suffer from distemper.

This season, we have encountered maximum number of cases of distemper on the street puppiee (3 to 9 month old).

Distemper is a viral disease which can be protected only with Dhippl vaccine and propoer food. Please be sure to protect street dogs and street puppies around your community and help them.

What would you do if you saw a puppy with scabies on the road? Will you adopt the puppy and treat them? Will you send them to a shelter? Or will you ignore them?

This little furry was found on the way to Sanepa when a kind hearted Shreesti Pradhan Ji found her and took her home. She contact us to help her new rescued puppy with the treatment of scabies.

We provided her with the medicine and she has started taking care of her, from giving a bath with medicated shampoo, proper food and a loving home.

We will continue our follow-up.

On March 10th, we were informed about a seriously injured monkey and we were able to rescue the monkey with help from local people at Tribhuvan University. We have sent him to the local zoo for further treatment. Let's pray for his recovery.

She is Laati living in Chapagaun area. Last night a community member heard big sound of her screaming. Next morning they saw big wound on her body, someone cut her with a sharp object that. She has been rescued by our shelter for further treatment. With the big wound and the trauma given by someone, she is scared of people now.
Her wound is a clear example of evil people hurting innocent voiceless street animals and these people still exist in our own society.

Someone dropped these little puppies near our shelter at night. We were spechless when we heard their crying. They were cold and they seemed hungry, they didn't have their mother with them.

We were shocked. How can someone leave these vulnerable puppies in this cold night?

Now they are at our shelter and they need a loving home. Unfortunately, due to our capacity, we cannot keep them for a long time. You can help them by sharing or adopting these puppies.

I was brought to the shelter of 4care after a terrible accident. I was hit by a car and abandoned without any help. A kind stranger saw me and brought to this shelter. With fractured leg and shattered bones, the doctors had no choice but to amputate my leg.

Now I stand with three legs, I am taking antibiotics and pain killer regularly so I get stronger and heal faster.

Help support 4care to cover medicine bill so that they can help many dogs like me living in the streets.

And also, please drive safely, we may live in the streets, but we also feel pain when we are hurt. Many dogs unfortunately do not survive hit-and-run, and many like me has to live with pain and trauma.

This Boxer with massive tumor was found roaming in Soyambhu area by Saru Racheal. Seeing her condition, Saru ji contacted us for support.

Dogs of these breeds are often kept as pets, and sometimes they are abandoned when they get older or when they have severe health issues. This could be the case for her as well.

She is in need of an emergency surgery so we can remove her tumor from her body. She will need proper care and medication for her recovery.

Another victim of humam cruelty: an innocent dog has become the victim of a knife attack at Gothatar.

We were reported by a community member about a dog living in their surrounding who was heavily injured.

Later we found out the wound was from a knife. No one knows the culprit unfortunately.

It has became common to see a community dog being attacked everyday in our life due to inhumanity and weak law.

We don't know how much he suffered; he is traumatised and left with a scar that will take a long time to heal.

You may not afford to feed a street dog, but you can afford to not hurt them.

For now, we can only treat his wound and give care but the culprit is still out there with no remorse.

This culprit's name is Prem living in Haraya, Rupendehi, Nepal.
He committed a very heinous crime today.

He captured an innocent cat, put him in a cage and burned him alive to death. The cat died shortly after going through such a terrible pain.

This video was posted in TikTok yesterday and after getting some lashback from animal lovers, it was deleted.

People like him should face criminal charges so no animals are tortured to death.

The law is bigger than all of us and has responsibility to bring justice where the crime is committed so future crimes are prevented.

If he is not brought to justice, he and many other heartless people will continue to torture animals and kill them mercilessly.

We are requesting every individual to take action for his heinous crime.

Please inform your local police officers or animal welfare society about such crimes.

We are in this together to bring justice to many animals who lost their lives in such painful way to these kind of people.

A kind samaritan informed us about her terrible condition, she had membrane tumor.

She is in need of surgery so we have brought her our shelter and perform surgery. She will stay with us for 20 days and we will return her to her community.

Rabies is one of the fatal diseases which leads to the death of a dog in a most painful way.

When our team was called for treatment of a street dog, we diagnosed it as rabies. He was in so much pain, he had been howling with pain for 3 days and suddenly at night he started to bite his own legs.

We had to make the most difficult decision of our lives and our profession to put him to sleep peacefully so that he will no longer suffer.

Throughout his last breath, our team was there to keep him company and give love until his final moments.

Yesterday we were informed by a good samaritan about a street furry injured in a road accident in Balkhu.

We found him with a terrible condition of his leg, it was still bleeding. We have rescued him and brought to our shelter for further treatment.

We all want to reach our destination at the right time, but we should also remember driving fast can take innocent lives and traumatise the survivor for their life- same goes for street animals who are unaware about such dangerous driving.

We request all of us to drive safe and save lives. If unknowingly a street animal is injured by our reckless driving, we should take the injured animal to the nearest vet, we owe that much.

We can't imagine the pain and trauma the poor furry is suffering from. She is the victim of a man's anger. The only mistake she did was to search for food to survive in her area.

We are trying to find that person who hurt her but no-one knew who hit her so ruthlessly.

After a good smaritan informed about her, we searched and chased her for two days. She was scared and she didn't trust people after what she went through.

We were able to finally rescue her and brought her to our shelter for further treatment.

Now she is under medication and is in need of surgery.

Sometimes the work that is done in the name of development brings suffering to many animals. They are very vulnerable and we can't ignore their pain.

Such is the case of this innocent puppy covered in Tar.

We have rescued and brought this little furry to our shelter from Nakhudol. His entire body is covered in tar and he is in so much pain. He is crying for help.

This loving community dog has been living with a huge tumor and is in need of immediate treatment.

This white dog Gori, had given birth to 6 puppies but she was unable to feed them as one of the other black dog Kali took over her puppies and started to feed them by herself.

Their community members tried to help the Gori but they could not succeed so when they reported us about the situation, our team separated three pupies for Gori and they were brough to our shelter.

We left the remaining three puppies for Kali so she won't get frustrated or depressed.

The love of Kali for the puppies of other dog, shows how her motherly love continues to exist. We can only imagine what may have happened to her real puppies in the past.

This is Chimpu from Patan, he had been sick and the community individuals who had been feeding him took care of him.

We were able to provide a treatment, now he is getting better.
