Hello Friends, Here are a few shots from our Farming God's Way potato harvest a few weeks ago. The potatoes grew well under the mulch even though it was dry and we did not hill them. I expect better and better yields of these early season organic potatoes as our soil continues to be restored. We got 187 kg from our space of approx 8x10 meters.

Pruning the Oranges
Much of the village we are in has orange trees planted all over thier land but all over the village the trees have not been fruitful for a number of years. Many people are cutting down thier old orange trees or simply abandoning them. This spring we finally aquired a few trees of our own on some land we have leased. We gave them a good pruning, cutting out all the dead and crowded branches, are working compost into the soil around and of course saying a prayer for the trees... Let's see what happens now.
Baby bunnies, Green Onions, Spinach, New Fields Staked, Interns on board and learning, Garlic fields and Potatoes starting to peek through the mulch... That was how March started.
