Set on an airy terrace, Kausimaa Co-working Space provides an ideal environment for freelancers, students, readers, and creative minds. It is a quiet, green, open space, with minimalist shared seating, steady WiFi, essential work logistics, and a mini library. We charge a reasonable fee for the use of the space and services. FAQ: Why should I choose Kausimaa over a café? We provide unlimited tea and coffee to all clients. There is no pressure to keep ordering stuff. You would be saving money. Also, the space is quieter and more productivity oriented than cafés or restaurants. You would be able to focus better. Finally, we provide basic work logistics as well. You would not have to venture elsewhere to get the likes of printing done. What services do you provide? We provide minimalist shared seating, free Wifi, unlimited tea and coffee, and printing-scanning services. Are there private office spaces & permanent desks available? No, we only have an open, shared space. What is your vision? We see ourselves as an accessible focus space that also serves as a creative community hub. What are the prices like? You can buy these passes from us to use the space: Full-Day: 249 Rupees 7 Day Pass (valid for 8 days): 1499 Rupees 30 Day Pass (valid for 35 days): 4499 Rupees If you come as a group of 3 or more, we will give a flat 33% discount on the passes. Where is it located? We are located at the end of the path between TVS Showroom and Arshiya boutique; near Jwagal Chowk, Kupondole. Google Maps Link: https://goo.gl/maps/RQTLF4zJsxUGp9jr5 What are the opening times? We are open from 10 AM to 8 PM from Sunday to Friday. On Saturday we open at 3 PM and close at 8 PM. (winter we close at 6) Can I use the space before / beyond the prescribed timings? Yes, upon prior request. We reserve discretion on the matter. Can I bring in friends or visitors? Yes, but they will be subjected to charges. However, if you come-in as a group of more than 3 people, there will be a 33% discount. Is there parking? We can accommodate motorcycles in the compound. Do you offer a free trial day? Yes, we do offer a 1 day trial. Are drinks and food served? We provide unlimited tea and coffee, but no food as of yet. You can bring your own food, or order it from a nearby eatery and have it here. Is smoking allowed? Yes, but only in the assigned smoking zone. Are any objects disallowed? Any large objects that hinder the space will not be allowed. Objects of violence, drugs, and speakers are prohibited. We reserve the right to disallow any object that we see to be disruptive. Can I bring in pets? As other people using the space might have allergies: we are reluctant to entertain pets. Can I play music? Loud audio can disturb other people using the space. We encourage you to use headphones. We can also provide you the spare ones we have, if need be. Can I display / sell my products in the space? We are looking to accommodate some displays & can discuss about it. Are there any other costs than the ones mentioned in the plans? No. However, a nominal amount will be listed for printing. We also plan to put other drinks and edibles apart from the free tea and coffee on sale. Can we host discussions and events? Yes, but only with prior approval.
