Proud of this little mare... After having a pretty rough history with people (and covered in scars to prove it 😢), Spirit is absolutely terrified of her feet being done. Because of this, her previous owner had just not bothered to get her feet done for months. It's been a journey trying to fix the damage, and the lameness issues she arrived with...but I'm happy to say she has finally gotten to the point where she can relax to have her feet done. We're taking baby steps, but it's a big win for her and us 😊
Looking forward to her Marmalade baby later this year!

Big afternoon for Phantom... Branded and microchipped for his NZWA registration, plus a pedicure and lots of cuddles. Back out and eating happily with his mum and sister an hour later 😊

February 13th 3yrs ago, War Paint Marmalade stepped off the truck (in the middle of a cyclone) from War Paint Stud. Back then he was a gangly teenager with only a couple of weeks of handling...Today he's looking pretty good for having just finished his third serving season, and we're in the middle of a drought. Not sure we knew just how wonderful Marmalade was going to be. He's continuing to leave outstanding foals, who most importantly have his lovely quiet nature.
We're excited about the quality mares he's had this season, and thrilled that we have owners so happy with their foals they're returning mares to get in foal again to him.
'Marmite' (as our little girl Molly calls him 🤣), will now have a well earned rest for a month 😊

The positive scan we've been hoping for, but didn't think we'd get!
Our very best girl Emma scanned in foal to Marmalade today 🙌 🎉
Like a few others this season she had twins, so after squishing one she can now carry the one big strong baby she's growing.
Emma absolutely adores being a mum. She's the mother of the farm and looks after all the foals not just her own. At 19 and with some soundness issues, we knew it might be an impossible ask to get another baby out of her.
After some fantastic work from our brilliant vets, Claudia and Felicity (Vet Associates) she's feeling incredible and we got our miracle result 🥹🥰
Emma's baby will be a full brother or sister to ORF Marmaduke, and we can't wait 😊

So very excited about this brand new Marmalade baby! Lovely Gigi that we sold last year, has had an outstanding huge c**t 😍
So happy for her fantastic new owners. Gigi did an incredible job to carry and deliver such a big foal! We can't wait to watch this boy mature 🥰

This super impressive c**t will be available at weaning. He will be branded, microchipped and registered with the warmblood society.
By War Paint Marmalade and out of Willow (warmblood by Worldly).
Phantom has huge amounts of presence, and is extremely friendly and playful.

ORF Valencia (Cara) is having another growth spurt 🙈 Her bum is 16.2hh already, as a yearling 😳
This girl is outstanding on every level. The sweetest, most placid nature. Beautiful to look at, and has incredible movement. She really has the potential to go to the top!
She would make a serious dressage prospect, but is also bred to jump and extremely athletic.
Officially on the market now (purely for financial reasons) and will only be sold to the very best of homes.
By War Paint Marmalade and out of Willow (warmblood by Worldly). Cara is branded, microchipped and registered with the warmblood society.

A huge win today, with visiting mare Minnie scanning in foal to Marmalade. This girl had come from another stud after two failed AI attempts to a different stallion. She was served the day she arrived, and is in foal first go 🙌
She celebrated by having a buck around the paddock 🤣
Thrilled to get a good result for her mum 🥰

Well this was a first! Trimming Cara yesterday, and I look up to see Phantom (her naughty little brother) trying to drink off her! 😳😅
She's such a sweet girl, she hadn't even flinched 😂
I gave her space to tell him off, but even then she only gave him a little nip on the bum 🤣

Little 'Ember' (yearling by Marmalade) ready for Xmas, during her stay at Rangiora Vets. This beautiful girl developed a nasty infection in her wither, and has impressed everyone with her incredible nature during surgery and now recovery. Sending healing vibes to her and her lovely family 🥰
