Weekend Drop off and Pick up times:

Between 8:00am and 9:00am
Between 12:00pm and 1:00pm
Between 5:00pm and 6:00pm

I had written a very long rant about how your time isn't more important than mine. But since typing it out I have cooled off (somewhat).

Bottom line, if you are running late or early LET ME KNOW!
I'm sick of wasting my life sitting around waiting on others or having to drop everything because you decided to pick up an hour early. I have my own things to do that I have already planned around times that I am expecting others to be here.

We can actually plan a drop off/pick up time that works for you if you can't make our normal times. We will add that to our check ins on when to expect you so we can work around it. I have no problem with that at all, happy to work around you as long as I know.

We understand "life" happens and sometimes things don't go as planned but for the love of god, just LET US KNOW.
All I'm asking for, is some common courtesy to let us know so we aren't wasting our time waiting on you or having to alter our routine because you suddenly decided to arrive early.

A simple text message to 021 135 1815 or a Facebook message, or a 10 second phone call. Just let me know.

Parvovirus
There have been reports of Parvovirus in Ashburton.
Parvo is a highly contagious viral disease that affects a pet’s gastrointestinal system. It is more common in puppies than in older pets, although pets can get it any age.

Parvovirus can kill an animal within 48 to 72 hours after they start showing clinical signs of the disease.

Parvo is one of the deadliest diseases for puppies.

Please watch your dog, and if you see signs of any of the things listed below please do not bring your dog to daycare.
Diarrhea is common in dogs, whether they have eaten something different, or something didn't agree with them, we have all seen the results of what happens.
But if the diarrhea is paired with blood, lethargy, loss of appetite or vomiting, please get them along to your vet clinic.

Because of this alert in the community, could everyone please bring along their vet books next week (or next time you attend), or send in a photo, so staff can sight your current vaccination.
Please send the photo to 021 135 1815 with your dogs name just in case your number isn't saved in the phone book already.
Even if you have recently sent us these details, please just resend so we don't have to chase up anyone.

Keep vaccinations up to date. Like canine cough, this can be spread anywhere where a dog has been before your dog arrived. With the number of dogs that wander the streets, you can walk on some sort of discharge and take it home yourself.
