As you can see just by looking into his eyes, he is still very broken.
We are both very lucky when we start to see foster homes slowly opening up. Counting the many blessings from above!
Where Iβve placed this boy, needed to be somewhere quiet, somewhere where he can redevelop the sense that from now on, everything is going to be ok ππ½
Many nights this boy was defenceless, yelped and howled to his neighbours as he was getting beaten and as all the messages and videos came flooding in, I shot out immediately but was held at knife point behind their gates.
Did I react? Iβm not gonna lie. Yes. In defence mode. Back slapped the knife out the Owners hands, locked eyes with his dog and walked towards him.
This poor dog was shaken up, he did not make eye contact with his Owner, his head was hanging low - almost in a fetal position. Real sad to see.
The worse part, he had kids inside and no sign of wife.
This boy was not chained but was kept in a wooden crate with an old wet rusted pallet slapped on top.
He reeked, had giant fleas and is currently limping from rear right hip/leg. He does have a missing front left tooth.
I have placed him with a family whoβs 79yr old Grandfather has trained the bully breeds since he was 19yrs old. Beautiful renovated architectural home. Huge backyard. There is a pool and a spa. 15mins walk to the beach.
I knew in my heart that this boy needed to see all of this and live the luxury life heβs meant to be living.
Will update his journey along with many others as we go.
For now, heβs slowly getting to know the family and their grandchildren. They have two 8 & 9yr old pittbulls that have sat back and are giving this boy time. So well trained.
Meet Ethan.
