I have had the lovely big 3 year old Chester here for 2 weeks schooling before I head north to compete at Nationals.
He made some great progress, moving forward and more off the leg, staying more consistent in the contact and getting more balanced in the canter.
Definitely one to watch in the future 🧐
For 3 years I could rarely get Ned’s left canter, it was something we have struggled with for a long time since I got him off the track. This last month we have finally turned a corner and beginning to get a lot more progress with each ride, he is definitely not an easy straight forward horse to ride.
As Krissy says the things this horse is teaching me are invaluable. Pretty proud of this progress video, a long way to go but it’s one big step in the right direction 🙌

Joany was in for a week before the South Island Premier Show for some work and was beautifully piloted by Livy McFarlane gaining some great results!
Lilly has successfully finished being broken in over the course of 8 weeks. She was a true delight to have and she enjoyed every minute of her work ☀️
Nevada is a beautiful big mare who has been here for the past 2 months for schooling while her mum has been away over Christmas 🎄
I am so ecstatic with how strong and balanced she has got with all the work, schooling beautiful with a happy and relaxed attitude 🙌
