“Meet Bella! 🐶
She is the most precious wee pooch! She is a papillon with almost 12 years under her belt! Bella has been with me since she was only 12 weeks old and has been my best friend ever since. She is the most joyful, sweetest gal!
3 weeks ago, we found out she had a Cancer lump under the armpit that needed to be removed ASAP. Under the professional care of Dr Jonathan Christian and his amazing team, she underwent surgery. We had some follow up appointments to ensure her recovery was going well. Each time I went and each person that was there was so kind and caring and really put Bella's best interests first. She is now back to her full life, joyful crazy self!
Thank you so much for all the wonderful support to both Bella and myself, thank you for being so professional, caring, kind and compassionate and thank you for being there when our animals need you.

“Meet Oska, he’s an 11 year old Tibetan Spaniel x with Griffin, he’s the sweetest little dog and as you can tell from the photos, super cute (well we think he is!).

Unfortunately, in his short life he’s had to undergo two identical surgeries on both back legs, his right leg approx. 16 months ago and then more recently his left leg. Both Cranial Cruciate Ligament Surgeries under the watchful eye of Jonathan and his team have been a success, with this latest surgery being the standout.

I was told he was weight bearing on his leg the afternoon of his surgery and hasn’t looked back since. Three weeks since his surgery he’s making good progress albeit a little bored due to being on restricted movement. It’s quite a stressful thing for any little dog to have go through this surgery once, let alone twice but the team at Canterbury Vets always have his best interest at heart and the success of both surgeries reflect this. Thank you to all.”

🐎 🐴 Canterbury Vets are now Providing Foaling Services!! 🐎 🐴

Foaling Services Provided:
* All Year-Round Foaling.
* Qualified Experienced Foaler & Veterinarian on site.
* Availability of 20 Mares at a time for Foaling.
* Herd Situation with availability of seperation if required.
* Mares arrive at least 2 weeks prior to birthing date and leave once foal is strong enough to travel (usually around the 2-3 week mark post foaling).
* All Mares and Foals will be Vaccinated/Wormed/Treated as per NZVA Guidelines.
* Option for Scanning and AI of Mares post foaling if required.

Prices:
* Mare Foaling - $300 - (Unless Complications with Birthing - Additional Costs May Apply).
* Grazing - $15 per day including once Foaled
(If your Mare Requires Hard feed - at Owners cost).
* Cost of Drugs, Medications, Vaccinations, Wormers etc. if required - will be at additional costs to owner.
