No words to express our feeling for today's fun at Takanini Bunnings fundraiser. Special shout-out to this phenomenal woman, Helena! She took a ride from Central Auckland ๐ just to drop off these wonderful beds for our cuddly pups ๐ถ. But that's not all... You won't believe what happened! Her sick English bulldog, Freddie was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, he couldn't walk and was about to be euthanised, switched his meds up, then started walking miraculously this morning ๐. She was so overwhelmed with joy, bought 10 fluffy pet beds from Kmart, and donated them here. What a champ! ๐ Helena, your generosity melts our hearts, and we are stoked for your bulldog's recovery. So, cheers for his long, healthy, and joyful life. ๐พ๐๏ธ

I cannot take it anymore! ๐ก๐ค I'm continually hearing stories of animals being harmed by a single evening that evolves to a horrifying week of fireworks, over houses, in cats' mouths, for mere laughs, and even scaring dogs. This is for what? Entertainment? ๐
โโ๏ธ Your neighbors turn into psychos while your scared pets try to escape! They often end up dead, lost, or worse, made a disgusting spectacle for firework fun! ๐ญ This MUST end NOW! Recently, I found two terrified Rottweilers in Tuakau trembling, running for their lives, but they were lucky to be microchipped ๐ Looked after, definitely adored. Can you believe they ran from their OWN BATHROOM? ๐ฑ This is absolutely unacceptable, people! Your momentary thrill isn't worth a lifetime of heartache. ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ Waking up to a lifeless beloved pet isn't FUNNY. Enough's ENOUGH. Time to BAN fireworks! ๐ซ๐
Hey everyone! ๐ฅณ Little Millie just celebrated her BIG 2nd birthday today! ๐๐ This kind-hearted sweetheart told her Mummy that she wants the birthday money to go to her furry friends at Keysar. ๐พ๐ We are honestly grateful for Millie's continuous support. Eagerly awaiting the day to hug you again, sweet Millie. ๐คโค๏ธ

Update on her first few amazing days at her new home ๐พ:
Pardon me for the late update. Angel (formerly Buddah) is adjusting well here. She started off a bit shy, which was kind of expected. The first couple of days had some growls and a scared tail, but her appetite was fine. ๐ถ But just look at her now on day 4! No growling, her tail's up, she's skipping around the house, creating a lovable mess (A shredded box of tissues, gnawed bark all over!). Not to mention, the fifth night had her sleeping alongside our daughter, and now, she even sleeps with us! She's just in love with cuddles, and she has these energy spurts where she only wants to play fetch.๐พ She's an absolute delight and we're thrilled to have her around.
The loud noises are still a bit scary for her, mower, vacuum, blender, you get the idea. ๐ On day 3, she got startled and ran off when hubby started some renovations. We had to go on a little search mission, but the silence from the neighbor's dogs tipped us off. After half an hour, we found her happily playing with them! Whoops! ๐คญ๐ The search party was not impressed (to say the least!), but apart from that little adventure, she's living up to her name, our little Angel. In memory of our son, she's turned out to be that beautiful Angelic gift we needed. โค๏ธ
